Are we able to know why port out request is rejected? I applied to port out of maxis. I even paid my bill in advance and yet the only message i received is that Maxis rejected my port out request.

Of course when u buy more it will be cheaper, buying 10gb at rm8 per gb but buying less 3gb at rm9.33 per gb; that is fair, isnt it?

QUOTE(lonjong @ Apr 15 2016, 08:29 PM)
That still far from RM8 per per set by Celcom and what more Maxis(if it's true lah).Further all telco banner seem to push RM80 price together happily. RM80 when split gets you 2 users with 2x words , mouth. Price fixing here. If Maxis want to be in the game come out with RM44/5gb at least then we see real fight. I one of those million unloyal untap fish that look at pocket. Household thing going up so this racketeering , unacceptable.

Tesco,Giant etc ganging up againts consumer? Then all chicken rice shop and the list never ends.I know what comes next "don't like it so get out o Mlaysia"

Salute your math SIR!

They wont do that. What is the benefit for maxis for doing so? Business wise, it is absurd to make such an arrangement as that package is no longer available for new subscribers. What they need to do now is to lure new subscribers and those porting out to return. Giving 30gb for obselete package where not many existing subscribers will not achieve that result. Instead they will introduce new package with unlimited data to all. That is the way to do business.

QUOTE(stevenlee @ Apr 16 2016, 07:38 AM)
I thinking to switch one below to MOP... not sure if it worth in the long run... I scare later maxis announce totally unlimited for one for below

Monthly Unlimited Plan RM99 - 10GB data
BES Unlimited Plan RM99 - 10GB data

both previously are totally unlimited then change to 30GB and then 10GB.. not sure if one day it will return to 30GB.. than I will be sad if I cancel it today cry.gif

But if they offer the same package as some of our friends here got, im willing to return to maxis immediately!!!

QUOTE(xzilem @ Apr 17 2016, 07:25 AM)
And not counting the porting out offer yet. No big deal too because They loss just a little bit on porting out offer, from rm128, rm158, rm188 to rm68, rm78, rm88.

Around 10 people got the offer, so 10 x rm100 = rm1000/mth loss (assuming only 10 people got the port out offer laugh.gif)

Poor maxis, people port out more than port in.

Should be better than celcom and digi offerings, if it's not, it wont be an effective counter attack from maxis

Maxis will announce upgrade plan this Friday.

Unfortunately for u, the customer service is correct. Nothing much u can do. It is clearly stated in the contract as put out earlier by one of the forumers here that Maxis may amend the terms of the contract.

In malaysia, i dont think we have the Unfair Contract terms Act such as in England and Singapore. So live with it!!! cry.gif

QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Apr 21 2016, 01:41 PM)
IM AFFECTED TOO. But the CS said they cant do anything. Didn't say anything about listen to recording etc.

I've just checked myMaxis App, it has been changed to MOP 98, on the 19th (when I first checked my bill, it was still MOP158 on the app).

It is their right to be the so called 'water fish'. It is their money. They can spend their money as they wish. It is none of your or my business biggrin.gif

QUOTE(blackchides @ Apr 21 2016, 05:12 PM)
Maybe some people willing to pay more because Maxis coverage is better in their frequented locations, or they like the added services like free Spotify in MOP, or they had bad experiences with previous networks and prefer to not take risks, or they like the overall experience of dealing with Maxis.
Nah, actually cannot be, they must all be water fishes biggrin.gif

Yes, u're right, it should be MOP78 so it is comparable to celcom gold 80 which has 5+5gb and digi 78 and 80. But since Maxis is the best in your area, it is worth it to pay the extra rm20 for the main line.

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Apr 21 2016, 07:18 PM)
well, my wife is very excited with those refresh maxisone plan including the maxisone share. erm this is good since my wife on surfmore 30 under my  line and her bill always 48-49 ringgit excluded GST. so I will change her plan while I'm getting 5gb and she gets 5gb. 10gb is enough for two of us. but I think maxis should refresh the price for their plan too...atleast 78 or 88 for MOP98. she doesn't want to change telco because at her work place others telco altho have 4g but slow and congest. so this offer suit her best. so I can wait until my contract ends and will see if got other good deals that time.
