Are we able to know why port out request is rejected? I applied to port out of maxis. I even paid my bill in advance and yet the only message i received is that Maxis rejected my port out request.

That still far from RM8 per per set by Celcom and what more Maxis(if it's true lah).Further all telco banner seem to push RM80 price together happily. RM80 when split gets you 2 users with 2x words , mouth. Price fixing here. If Maxis want to be in the game come out with RM44/5gb at least then we see real fight. I one of those million unloyal untap fish that look at pocket. Household thing going up so this racketeering , unacceptable.

both previously are totally unlimited then change to 30GB and then 10GB.. not sure if one day it will return to 30GB.. than I will be sad if I cancel it today

And not counting the porting out offer yet. No big deal too because They loss just a little bit on porting out offer, from rm128, rm158, rm188 to rm68, rm78, rm88.

Around 10 people got the offer, so 10 x rm100 = rm1000/mth loss (assuming only 10 people got the port out offer )

Poor maxis, people port out more than port in.

I've just checked myMaxis App, it has been changed to MOP 98, on the 19th (when I first checked my bill, it was still MOP158 on the app).

Nothing about that. I think customer bought a car at RM 88, expecting a Civic but in reality it's a City!!!

Maybe some people willing to pay more because Maxis coverage is better in their frequented locations, or they like the added services like free Spotify in MOP, or they had bad experiences with previous networks and prefer to not take risks, or they like the overall experience of dealing with Maxis.

well, my wife is very excited with those refresh maxisone plan including the maxisone share. erm this is good since my wife on surfmore 30 under my  line and her bill always 48-49 ringgit excluded GST. so I will change her plan while I'm getting 5gb and she gets 5gb. 10gb is enough for two of us. but I think maxis should refresh the price for their plan too...atleast 78 or 88 for MOP98. she doesn't want to change telco because at her work place others telco altho have 4g but slow and congest. so this offer suit her best. so I can wait until my contract ends and will see if got other good deals that time.

If this is what it is, I'm porting out for real then.

If this happen in the US, maybe got class action lawsuit already.
