Trust me. Thats not a good deal. My friend is using rm128 maxis one plan. And guess what, maxis call her and offer this, add rm30 and get another 10gb. Wtf! Gonna be same like mine. Im using 158 topup another rm30 will be rm188 to get 15gb while she is only pay rm158 to get same deal as mine.
I dont know how to run from maxis, I have contract with them with another 21 months. GG.COM

I am currently on MOP128. Received an SMS from Maxis that reads:

"Congratulations! You've been selected to enjoy a special offer. Hurry! Visit your nearest Maxis outlet to redeem. T&C apply"

Dropped by Maxis outlet later in the afternoon. Showed the SMS. Was asked my phone number and was offered :

Additional 7Gb of data with a topup of RM30 to my existing plan.

Bottom line: 'Upgrade' to MOP158 and get 10 Gb of data...... Oh and no contract 24mths contract... Just continue with whatever remaining contract u are on....

I said i'll think about it......

if ever Maxi$ come out with new plan, pity those which are still under contract.

I can tell u all, no need to go to their center. These are all plans are asking u to top up rm30 to get additional GB like MOP128 3GB to 5GB. Really totally waste of time going there.
Maxshit managed to get a lot of ppl going to their center to inquire about the SMS as while my fren is queing, a few person in front also asking the same sms thing. They walked away once they heard the offer.

This is really getting more ppl to hate Maxshit.

1 more year contract, so cannot bear the penalty at this moment

I don't really like to tied contract with Malaysia telco. Rebate RM400~800 anything bad happen like now, walk away is double that amount.
I rather wait few months for the phone price drop. Unless you buy iphone.

Back to my experience, i tied contract with maxis 6years ago. After 6 months, my house 3G tower was down. Maxis said it is edge of the area, and they had no budget to increase it. Asked me get used to it.
I reported them to SKMM. Final outcome was, maxis need to rebate 50% of my bill until they fixed my problem or until contract ended.

I think if there is a new plan it will be the RM68 for 5GB unlimited calls n sms with burung hantu internet. (exclude the monthly balance unused roll over).
maybe they will price it higher 10 ringgit or something.
I'm in Kuching and currently on their 68 East Malaysia One plan. its Bliss coming from their 1GB maxisGO.

yes totaly agree that, maxis does not need to b the cheapest , their brand is well establish, what they need to do now is reduce price. if everyone go for the cheapest unlimited call, then digi should win the war, but why still lots of ppl go for celcom.

i would sugegst maxis should come out 2 plan , eith OP68 (replace op158) and one plan OP88 (replace 188)... by the way, don need free spotify la if it will makes the package price increase. not everyone can listen to music all day long also.

MaxShit texted me say got special offer for me today, and I can redeem the special offer at any MaxShit centre.

OK got some free time, went to MaxShit centre. Showed the young man text. YOung man played with his donno what pad and told me the MaxShit special offer is an upgrade. Me pretended to be happy and to;d him tell me the special upgrade offer.

The MaxShit special upgrade offer is RM158 for 7G data. I am on RM128 for 2G data.

MaxShit young man got the cheek to say damned god offer pay RM30 can get extra 5G data.

I laughed and laughed and laughed. It was good amusement for me. There is no sincerity in MaxShit's special offer to loyal customers. They just want to screw their loyal customers.

Seriously this MaxShit does not value loyal customers. I have been their customer since 1995 and this is how MaxShit treats me.

I am changing telco tomorrow.
