Any lock can be opened, just how fast one to pick it. Once I have a Yale door knob, oso can pick lock it, key maker told me it was very hard to pick it. Took him 15-20 minutes. QUOTE(arthur88 @ Mar 31 2016, 09:14 AM) noted...now asking for suggestions cause new to superbikes...getting my R25 soon... i ride R25 daily to work/everywhere as well.just now google about the alarm disc lock... makes me hesitate when some said and even post photos that it is easily broken.. now i was-was want to get the alarm disc lock... need to do more research and reading... i use xena alarm lock (without using alarm function even when it has it because imho too sensitive) for my front disc and the free disc lock from shop for my rear disc and of course the bike's built in handle bar lock. my office is at first avenue (1 Utama), its more "civilized" so incidents are almost nil here. a lot of riders leave their jacket/helmets on their bikes too so that says something. if you're not so fortunate to park at guarded place with rich people/tenants, then consider getting another chain or something to tie the bike down to a pillar or something similar or if you got colleagues/riders coming in/out at the same time, can consider tying multiple bikes together however can be inconvenient as must share key and if one leaves the other is a lone bike which needs something else to die down to. this is to prevent people hoisting the entire bike up a pickup truck or similar methods. then there's people stealing accessories, i've got 2-3 friends faced the same fate, replacements are in the 2-6k (one friend had to claim total lost because there's nothing left besides the engine/frame) because theirs are bigger/more expensive bikes with brembos. the best way is still to park responsibly and prudently. try to park at guarded basements with guards patrolling to guard cars as well. |

(green/light colored)my bike calls for 10w40 and considering the thing revs up to 14.5k, don't dare risk it unless i want to do UOA's. the bike also calls for 5k km oil changes but i am doing half oci change. this repsol oil will be in my bike for 2500 km then i will stick back regular 5k km due to financial problems that i can no longer sustain a half oci practice QUOTE(adibyusoff @ Mar 31 2016, 10:33 AM) ~rm40, from Tesco.change at my regular bike shop for 5 bikes since bring outside oil instead of buying from them. QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Mar 31 2016, 10:56 AM) as per above. that is after discount/tesco promotion as they put their RRP 60 or was it 68.i bought it last year october or november, before i even gotten the bike/license lol. now i try to find they no longer have the racing version, only regular |

Most of the time, I'm on 10w-40. btw, superbike also got the same "break-in" as normal bikes? like cannot ride more than 80km/h...or cannot rev more than certain rpm? i goto LC135 thread, they have quite specific "break-in" method... |

There are many methods of breaking in available on the net. You just need to choose whichever you like most. |
