I did have that problem. If phone gone to deep sleep it will stop receiving messages. Not until I open the app like your message bombarded in.I change something in the power menu then ok.

mean settled.. thats good ... thumbup.gif
its a good phone that can finally push notification properly..
wasted my weekend just to find a solution to it...
permission auto start, permission off, developer option 4 processes, lock the memory, battery setting off, allow apps to use background data.. all and still the same.. finally can put this issue to rest..

Hi Guys,
1st choice.
Get a Redmi Note 3 through my sis in China who will be coming back to Penang. Hopefully before the end of the month.
I'm going for the Redmi Note 3 Pro - Snapdragon650, 3GB/32GB.
China has a better warranty (can return the phone within 7 days for 1 to 1 replacement, no questions asked). Malaysia Warranty is limited & the service centers aren't that helpful.
I'll be asking her to test the phone out first there though.
Any advice on what I should do?
2nd choice
Get a Redmi Note 3 here. However, even though we know its a Snapdragon, not sure whether the 2GB/16GB or 3GB/32GB. Also, don't know how the good the service centers here are. There are some complaints at the MUI forum about this on defective phones from a few users. Which is why I'm considering getting the phone from China instead.

Appreciate any advice you can give me.

Can you return the phone in 7 days if got problem to China? New Xiaomi phone come with bootloader lock so you better be ready on how to flash. No Playstore also unless it come with vendor rom which full off China bloatware. You seems to care about after sale service so better get local warranty. Unless shipping from here to China is not a hassle for you.

you must set a security ... arh... a secondary security to enable the finger print.

like pin unlock, swipe pattern unlock, password, code, etc.

Sometimes/usually problem arise or detected within the 1st week. That's why ask can send back in 7 day or not.

well it's better than waiting for official malaysia unit anyway.

coz the sales surely sold out in a minute again.

then need wait for next sales, next sales again, then next sales, then again...

Just wanna ask, will you guys buy from Xiaomi Malaysia if they sell the phone at this price?

Redmi Note 3 2GB/16GB - RM699 or RM749?
3GB/32GB - RM869 or RM999

Personally my max is RM699 for 2GB and RM869 for 3GB. If they sell more than that I will go from local importers.

Hope 3gb/32gb version is RM869. Since the main competitor will be Honor 5X. Xiaomi nid to attract us with cheaper price! tongue.gif

yes if it is slightly higher ppl might stick back to XiaoMi...
if the range is more than RM1000 i think i might go for Mi5 lower end version with 3G ram...
