QUOTE(zher4883 @ Mar 9 2016, 03:44 PM) is it ??? I don think so if you have a locked bootloader QUOTE(breekachu @ Mar 9 2016, 03:57 PM) naaahhhh wait until next moth, flash sale from xiaomi malaysia. BOOOOOOOOOMM! sold out in 1 second. must wait 2 more weeks. then again BOOOMM! sold out again QUOTE(CyrusWong @ Mar 9 2016, 04:00 PM) ahhaha, that's common, since mi practicing such marketing strategy. because that is to create a HYPE... just to let ppl fight to get it... wonder why don't they just use the preorder method.. like iphone... everyone happy. you see iPhone now where got a lot of ppl chasing to buy coz now they prepare plenty of stock... and also XiaoMi financial is not stucked with in-stock so they can utilize their $$$$$ on others... |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Mar 10 2016, 10:06 AM) Apple is Western Company, Xiaomi is Eastern Company. understand this concept haha.. Peeps from the west prefer to have ready stock and then cash and carry, they hate hunger sales like Xiaomi or shit invitation only like OnePlus Peeps from east prefer to scalp/hype, therefore hunger sales works on here. You see, just like Malaysian. For example, 2 restaurants, one more packs with people, one more less people, people mindsets must be "oh, that one more people, so much be better" |

yes if it is slightly higher ppl might stick back to XiaoMi...
if the range is more than RM1000 i think i might go for Mi5 lower end version with 3G ram... This post has been edited by michael9413: Mar 14 2016, 02:51 PM |

QUOTE(rukaman @ Mar 14 2016, 03:04 PM) Hi all, is it reliable to buy through Lazada? Just saw Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 32gb sold there, price RM883. I saw other post saying that the 3gb RAM version coming soon in April. So, is this true? After comparing Redmi note 3 and honor 5x, i think redmi note 3 stands out more. Quite noob question as currently an Ifag QUOTE(Looi90 @ Mar 14 2016, 03:12 PM) should wait for RN3 Snapdragon version or get RN 3 Helio version? i saw 32GB selling RM7XX only , tempting but scare Mi Malaysia come out with just 8XX for Snapdragon version QUOTE(adelyn0910 @ Mar 14 2016, 03:15 PM) Tempted to get my hand on RN3. Haha currently using RN1s version.. Kinda laggy now. So thinking to upgrade the phone. Saw seller selling RN3 on Qoo10 RM917 include Tempting glass and silicon cover if Im not mistaken. 3gb ram and 32gb flash rom. all of the 3 potential Redmi Note3 owner... please to be informed that the Redmi that you see is MediaTek version not the Redmi Note 3 Pro with SnapDragon... here we strongly recommend you to wait for the Mi Malaysia as they mention they will bring in SD version... which is better than the MTK one... you can grab one if you don mind lack of firmware support and you know how to flash the phone urself... otherwise for me just relax and hold on it... |

Hate MIUI... but XiaoMi is best is budget at the moment haha...
BTW isnt it all phone is preorder... if it is now then your phone will arrive to your doorstep within 2~3 working days after you order it... now i'm not sure how long you need to wait for your orders... |

i do not think there will be a MTK China... as they are not selling any MTK model out of China, Officially...
hence they do not need to generate a global ROM for that... |

although a lot of others manufacturer still same but last time my Mi3 were promised with lollipop for almost 6~9 months it nv been materialize so i sold it off... after 1 year+ also no sight of it... but i heard about mid of last year they push it out already... i do hope they promise to upgrade as per schedule, not drag and left user asking after 6 months also no reply... |

QUOTE(bigwig @ Mar 18 2016, 05:57 PM) that is what i worried about... but i'm skeptical on Redmi Note3 Pro cos of the firmware update slow... got some bad experience on Mi3... and sometimes thinking why MIUI sucks too much RAM... but overall Mi products quality is ok... not much complaint... QUOTE(Lucius <3 @ Mar 20 2016, 10:07 PM) I am one of the 15 explorers who received the phone for reviews 5 hrs OST is just ok ok for me with the 4000mAH... try gaming then we will know result... Yup, running MIUI 7 Global 6.3.18 | Beta. So far 5 hours of screen and 1 day plus on battery without battery sver mode. To be honest, I was a little bit skeptical at first but after experiencing the battery life, I must say that I am impressed. I am not a heavy gamer though I do play some games; subway surfer kind of genre. I am more on business side if that matters; emails, phone calls, message, web surfing, navigation, ebooks and music. ![]() ![]() what is the brightness settings???? Medium or Auto??? |

QUOTE(adz83 @ Mar 25 2016, 09:32 AM) Now it's just depends on the developers to keep updates on the software. (android Marshmallow etc) they have been noted to slack in term of this aspect... Mi3/4 until now have not got Lollipop yet... some ppl might argue that lollipop has it's own issue but for me a promise is promise... although some of the feature is available thru customized MIUIv7.0... Please do not tell me customize rom... i do not want to root... i do hope they grant their promise, to upgrade of the android version... and never the less continue make low budget phone with great specs... am considering Mi5 or Redmi Note3...
