QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 17 2021, 04:17 PM) What sort of IGL products you're looking at? I saw the video posted by quazacolt, showing the IGL premier still good after 6 months. Looking for promos for 4.4 shopee heheheSo far I've only tried Delete and PreCoat. Their PreCoat is basically IPA with a nicer scent. Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 22 2021, 04:26 PM) Ahh I see. Im lookin for car wash too. Which tupps to use? Tupps concentrated or tupps wash & shine?Probably clear my existing backlogs first before deciding to splurge on the TW Ceramic. Haha. Now priority is to secure wash shampoo for my wash routine. Might just opt back for Tupps since it's quite bang for buck and very sudsy too. |

QUOTE(talzer @ Mar 23 2021, 12:44 AM) Hi all, am overwhelmed with all the available caring products in the market Am getting the proton x70 and want to try caring the car myself instead of sending it off for coating Reading some past posts here, for the simplest combo, is it enough to just go with fusso + kiwami? Apply fusso then kiwami , for duration cycle of 2-3months. Sorry am noob here, hope all sifu can advise QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 23 2021, 07:55 AM) Firstly, congrats on your ride bro. I tried fusso coat f7 + luxury spray between washes. One thing, since the car is quite high, how do you intend to detail/wash the roof area? Anyhow, assuming you've done some surface preparation like claying the surface of your new ride and then polishing any paint imperfections, then only proceed to coat the car with Fusso. The Kiwami I guess you're referring to the spray wax/luxury gloss? That can be a topper or used in between washes, since the Fusso Coat itself ought to last quite some time if properly applied and maintained thereafter. You may also consider applying some coat on your windscreen areas for that beading effect on all your glass areas. Gonna try fusso + speed barrier spray next month. Luxury spray doesnt seem to form beads though. Note: fusso coat smells bad but luxury spray smells like mango. Wait for 27th march sale on shopee to get them.. I think i need to replenish my soft99 glaco too This post has been edited by sonotme: Mar 23 2021, 01:42 PM |

QUOTE(GuyM @ Mar 23 2021, 07:23 PM) Cream type too huh? Will give this a try on next purchase. Applied using microfiber damp cloth on another 10 yrs old old jap with nappa leather and it look a bit glossy but not messy Im using turtlewax leather cleaner & conditioner though.. not sure what's the difference, but it smells like baby oil!QUOTE(talzer @ Mar 23 2021, 10:30 PM) thats a valid concern on the height where the car roof is not reachable. I used soft99 fusso f7 + soft99 luxury coat spray.. i think it's similar to the fusso + kiwami combo that u meant..any pointers for that? using steps may scratch side paint anyway the kiwami i'm referring to below: https://shopee.com.my/(-Free-Gift-)-Soft-99...2523.1819278992 do you mean the spray version this? if yes, is it better than above? https://shopee.com.my/(-Free-Gift-)-Soft99-...2523.7254124325 some question into the in-depth steps. do i need to let the fusso to cure 12hours thereafter only apply kiwami? for the glass area, decide to try soft99 glaco. checking the youtube video on tutorial I think it's recommended to leave it overnight for the 2nd coating but not everyone has time.. QUOTE(talzer @ Mar 23 2021, 10:34 PM) hi , can share what is the difference between fusso f7 and the wax type? It's more to application i think. Wax vs liquid. Some sifu here might recommend u to go straight to spray wax since its easier and faster too.. durability & effect is more or less the same..fusso f7 is better? or is it easier to use compared to the wax type? |

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 24 2021, 08:54 AM) Not too sure about the curing time but I suppose you need to let it haze for around 15-20mins. Myself I don't have luxury of time to let the product cure cos my car porch isn't covered so once I let it cure for 15-20mins and hazes up, I will proceed to buff off. Need to remember not to over apply.. if not have a tough time buffing hehe..As for the glass, yup, Glaco roll on is the better investment. Make sure you get the larger roll on to cover the surfaces of your windows much faster |

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 24 2021, 11:19 AM) Hi bro, Agree.. i also just bought the speed barrier as lsp for weekly wash topper..Check out the link I shared earlier https://www.nipponshine.com/blog/which-wax-...uitable-for-me/ If you're using Fusso already, unlikely you need to layer/stack with the Kiwami paste. |

QUOTE(talzer @ Mar 24 2021, 10:09 PM) sifu, if i quarterly spray and wipe with this fusso speed & barrier, already sufficient for basic car care? I also just bought this few days ago.. but i plan to use this as topper after weekly car wash.. not sure if it lasts that long compared to the fusso wax / fusso liquid..https://shopee.com.my/SOFT99-Fusso-Coat-Spe...3113.4537889643 by the way already purchased glaco for the mirror care |

QUOTE(talzer @ Mar 26 2021, 05:06 PM) Hi Sifu, Wait for sale, i think we bought last month at less than RM70 for tw ice sns.the turtlewax you mentioned is this? https://shopee.com.my/Turtle-Wax-Ice-Seal-N...1911.5766627248 dont really mind the cost as it's actually still within budget so just to finalize, fusso f7 as base before apply this turtlewax? Fusso f7 (liquid) as base, followed by speed & barrier (spray). Can get it at shopee for rm30+ Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Mar 28 2021, 11:10 AM) Anything to help to prevent dust sticking on surface after raining? Lately it rains a lot and all the dust sticks to the surface.. I don't think u can prevent dust sticking.. but u can prevent the water from sticking on the car by using leaf blower to push the dirty rainwater off the car. Waxed car will make the water beads fall off easier too.. |

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 29 2021, 08:56 AM) Trial and error I suppose. Yeah.. and the next day my wife pour it away coz she thought it was dirty water! Adddooooiiii...I usually pour one capful of ONR and just use my garden hose blast inside till around 1/4 full... Still got excess also. QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Mar 29 2021, 08:59 AM) Nice. I actually bought that Rolson pack of MF towels a few years ago from Ace Hardware. Probably decent all rounder for cleaning door jambs etc. It's not as plush as those towels that can be used to buff off waxes etc. Stoner speed bead good? I still got alot of waxes to go through haha..I even using that Rolson towel as my daily kitchen towel. Haha. Anyways, the Stoner Speed Bead in your photo, you can get cheaper from Parkson. Subang Parade has clearance section. I think I got mine for much lesser than that RM49 price. Btw last weekend project i tried paint touchup bought via shopee.. 1st n 2nd pic using ezy touchup paint. Can notice the diff on red car (10+ years old) compare to white (1 month old). Should i try using the rubbing compound to even it out? 3rd/4th pic before/after using turtlewax scratch remover. QUOTE(more2teayap @ Mar 30 2021, 09:37 AM) Your white is platinum pearl white? noticed the touch up park abit dull, is this before you applied the basecoat B? Yes white pearl. White is abit dull compared to the original. Can't really see the difference unless you shine light (hence i had to take pic with flash to show it). But based on my experience, if can remove via scratch remover is better. But if it's too deep, touch up paint might make it look uglier. Any ways to even the paint? Quazacolt liked this post
