Anyways, MCZ for side mirrors, only reapply when you see water beads on your side mirrors. If left untouched during your wash sessions, it should last a month or so. It repels water incredibly well but is quite a faff to apply cos it drips after spray [I didn't follow their method of using the cardboard as a funnel ]

Glaco roll on for your windscreen. My personal experience - I only recoat it like once every 3-4 months. Even longer when my car was garage queen since October since I hardly drove it and just the usual weekly washes. No issues washing it with your regular wash shampoo cos the coat still stays on.

Black Black - I only recoat once every 2-3 months. Granted it's not as 'shiny' and glossy as most other brands out there, but in terms of longevity - it's there. My current coat has been on for almost 2 years now. I just top up every few months.

Same here. I don't use wipers whilst driving anymore especially if my car reaches certain speed. The sensation of watching the water just bead off is quite therapeutic.

From experience, having tried Rain X, I feel Glaco gives good results.

I bought another brand [Carmate] but haven't used it yet.

Soft99 products are pretty much decent and reasonably priced.

What sort of boxes bro? Those foldable type from DIY/Daiso or proper cardboard boxes etc like those used for parcels. Haha.

Everytime I wash my car. (which I only do once every few months lol, per year I think maybe less than 5 to 7 washes in total including my annual major detailing)

It only react to iron particles and those that are still on the pads have other bonding materials so no worries.
The disc rotors themselves totally no issue as it is a solid iron chunk. It does however remove majority of brake dust particles from the disc and some of those particles are rust resistant or won't rust at all (eg: organic material or ceramics) so almost guaranteed to rust after usage. Which you brake, those rust dust fall off onto rims... LPPL dirty again until you hose them off or go for a quick drive :star:

So far no experience on pads performance and I drive by car(s) pretty hard (consequently having serious brake dust issues lol) and even bringing to SIC.

Yesterday evening just done car wash and using Metaclean paint cleaner. Car was unused today, but afternoon found there are yellow dots on the car paint, which I frequently encounter but not sure what is that, anyone know what are these little yellow stain? My car is not parking under tree.

These consider water bead or not? Only Metaclean.  :confused:

I just bought turtlewax ice S&S online. It comes with a black sprayer. I wouldn't have noticed except the seller specifically mentions the black colour sprayer is genuine. Is that true? I only see grey sprayer in all images I found online..

Finally got some time to do some proper TLC. Removed all the decals except for the boot lip.

Coated all glass areas except side mirrors with Glaco Roll On

Recoated the tyres with Black Black

Applied Armorall Shield Wax on bonnet and sealed the whole car with Ultimate Fast Finish

And lastly Soft 99 Cloth Barrier on all the seats...

Just now after evening rain managed to decon wash my car and proceed with ceramic coating. To recap I did Meguiar Ultimate Compound using hand applicator for past 2 days, managed to lift up most water mark and residue, tiring but I'm satisfied.

So when sunset, I brought out white LED battery-powered light to proceed the coating job, to my horror, under the white LED light I'm able to see the round circular light haze of my Ultimate Compound work! During daytime I didn't see it, but it was now visible circular pattern under LED light, omg. So I ignore it and proceed with coating job, luckily applying to coating able to masquerade those circular haze and making the paint looks glossy (black car).

Any idea what is the circular haze? It doesn't seems to be scratches, but sort of like compound residue?
