As I know Makita 9227c is roughly RM900, but it is supposed to be phased out and replaced with its heavier brother Makita 9237c which price is around RM1000.

Lol, in all fairness the 9227c is a workhorse, rarely breaks down. Only issue is the head of the machine is bare metal, so feels hot if wanna hold there for polishing. The heavier brother 9237c has a thick plastic covering the head, so more comfortable to hold. I normally dont use the D-handle cuz not convenient to me when polishing sides.

Haha, never got used to the D handle or side handle to be honest. I hold rotary same was as DA, holding the tail and trigger with right hand and head with left hand. Personally it gives me more control of its movement and also tilting whenever I need to. Just personal experience and preference I guess, hehe

good day to all ...... need some advice on Soft 99 Fusso Coat F7......first time trying to coat my car after learning from washing, claying, polishing and waxing.
i have just bought and try to do coating with Soft 99 Fusso Coat F7, which side of the sponge/applicator that they provided in the box to used?.....one side is soft yellow colored sponge and another side is blue hard/dense sponge/plastic....... i used the soft yellow sponge side, am i correct?.....if so what's the used of the blue hard/dense part?......thanks.

Just slow down on edges. These days polishing products are not as aggressive as what it was back then.

Even leaving on a same spot wouldn't burn that easily...but why would anyone do that?

Personally I think this stigma have made people turn away from rotary. It is a favorite tool of mine and I do recommend it.
But not as a first tool. Stick with da for your first tool

I'm looking for acrylic clear coat for my headlamp too. Freaking yellowish must wet sand and compound it. Lelong got this brand "samurai" 2k clearcoat but i doubt its quality. Ezytouch up also got clear coat but it's comes in 20ml

I just bought bosch GEX as my 1st polisher as a beginner to car detailing world. 

the backing plate is 5 inch. Should I buy 5 inch polishing pad or should i buy bigger? i.e. 6 or 7 inch?

Ordered MJJC foam lance from AliExpress, finally arrived yesterday this weekend can use this foam lance and Osren Nano wash hehehe. The Karcher Fj3 that came with my K4 Basic was not convenient, the container is only 0.3L ._. spray halfway need to top up soap.

Was told the Karcher is really bad compared to these China made ones, don't dare to pull trigger for those italy made ones haha, so much more expensive.
