I bought 3 bottle for a total of $175 incl shipping from Amazon a month back. If compare this against The Bread Maker, this is way much better in terms of durability, shine and smoothness. Application wise I used the Bead Maker method
Below are the beads after almost a month, car is mostly parked outside even during night time, during the one month, car washed with soap only once while most time is just rinse only and wipe off
Photo taken after downpour yesterday morning and I happened to drive this to work otherwise my son takes it to Uni
Sharing my detailing... Applied "Soft99 Fusso Coat 12month" wax last week. Rains quite alot at my place since I waxed it. I rinsed my car with water after I drove it in the rain.Today performed a deep wash. Quite impressed with result of Fusso Coat. Hope it last long...
P/s: No coating. Get kelentong b4.

It's good for our climate but it has a big weakness, let u find out n tell us lol
Um... Personally, I never experience hard to buff off though. Maybe my car is white color. Now, I suspect I did it wrong... below was the steps I performed.
1) Did it under a shade - my condo car park. 2) Damped the sponge with water. Squeeze till no water. 3) Get a tiny little wax 4) Work section by section: Apply, wait for 5min, buff it off. I will use a new microfiber cloth for each buffing. Purchased a lot of small piece microfiber cloths.
According to a tip from a Youtuber, don't wait until it haze. If it haze, then it means you apply too much or you left it too long on the surface.
5) If I felt hard to apply, I will damp the sponge again.
Yup. Fusso coat 12month will not give any glossy effect. In fact, it will make it less glossy. However, the hydrophobic effect is great!
Suspect u still apply too much product, n microfibre is not the so right type ...Last buffing technique
4 days full detailing project for exterior and interior on MCO 3.0
Interior: Plastic: Meguiar's ultimate protectant to clean and protect. Leather: Meguiar's ultimate leather balm to clean, condition and protect. Door sill: Meguiar's final inspection to clear off dust, fingerprint, compound and polish dusting, follow by synthetic x-press spray wax to protect, make deep colour depth, slick and gloss. Part 1 of 2:
Part 2 of 2:
Exterior: Wash: Meguiar's Shampoo Plus with 20l single bucket with grit guard. This shampoo make the surface very slick, it has some glossy effect some how. Chemical decon: Meguiar's iron decon. so clean, too well maintenance? haha...
Compound: Meguiar's ultra cut compound remove swirl, scratches, oxidation follows by final inspection to inspect paintwork as well as removing compound residue. Polish: Meguair's ultra finishing polish to fine tuned compounding work, bring the deep gloss to another level follow by final inspection to inspect paintwork as well as removing polish residue.
After this stage, the car accumulated a lot of compound and polish dusting, rinse with water and wipe dry prepare for waxing. Prior to wax: Spray final inspection on paint and wipe dry to remove residue that might not picking up before. Viola, manage to pick up leftover previously. Wax: This time I choose pro hybrid ceramic sealant. This sealant smell very fruity like cranberry, make me want to swallow it 1st buffing off, it feels grabby and subsequent buffing, it feels slick. This sealant need further curing in 24 hours. Hopefully no rain in between, otherwise need to reapply later on.
Mirror: Meguiar's glass cleaner to remove any sealant that spread over it follow by synthetic x-press spray wax. here to prevent water mark etching, provide better visibility during rain.
Rim: meguiar's all purpose cleaner to clean it follow by synthetic x-press spray wax to make it shinny.

How much is the Gallon Iron Decon and M27 u bought ? Direct from Hypercoat ?
iron decon - RM 470 per gallon - hypercoat - self collect when i pass by USJ, kinda expensive for shipping M27 - RM 480.12 per gallon - shopee (mamba m2 carcare) - trusted and genuine, already bought few others product past few years from him.
In comparison, shopee shipping from mamba only RM 5.96 for same gallon size. I understand shopee got contract with courier company, thus lower price.
Not all meguiar's product i used purchased from Hypercoat except others don't have. For same item, why pay more?
Oh yeah, don't buy from Ace hardware, their price gg.
Seem MG product getting and more expensive in Malaysia. Guess you must have spend few K in detailing product and equipment...its much cheaper compare to those days.
If you haven't try coating, you should...all the LSP, topper, sealant etc will be easier to apply and last longer if they sit on coating.
Yeah, it is cheaper ten years ago to buy equipments. Actually all products regardless of brand are expensive due to inflation, every year also increased. There is no point to compare in the past. My items are slowly upgraded, only 3 items are new in the family for the current project which is M27, final inspection and iron decon. It will last me several years down the road. Meguiar gallon size products are cheaper than ounces size, this is the way I save money on it. For example, a gallon size of shampoo plus with every week wash for 20l bucket, it can last me almost a year. The picture you saw it, I'm started last year October or November. For M27, if you calculated in 16 ounces size, it is 2 to 3 times cheaper than their own ultimate wax. I knew how to measure, so for me it is still best value for money.
For a true coating, as I mentioned before, I won't invest in this range because I don't have control environment to begin with. I'll wasted more money if I can't maximised the coating performance to its fullest potential. To maintain it, the product is more expensive too.
For the last part you mentioned, you shouldn't apply any LSP or sealant on top coating except the topper and it must be in the same family range of coating. Otherwise, it just wasted money and effort. If you read my previous post, I got explained it or you can Google it.
Now this hybrid ceramic sealant I used, I can make it like true coating effect, it is much more cheaper and easier to maintain. I can also make it last as long as I want similar to my ultimate wax before. That's why I don't need high end ceramic coating 😊
Seem you preferred the 'conventional' way more (for now) ...well there is no right or not in detailing as long you find it work for you...(total time and investment spent)
Was in at least 5 to 10 different Mirror Glaze product in the past e.g M80,82,83,85,86 (if you know what are them)...then 105,205...still left some of the products....guess what you tried to explained i might have gone into deeper the poison than you lol...
By experience, personally i would rate coating (be it glass or ceramic coating) will definitely help in your ease of maintenance (wash/dry/sheeting/beading etc)...tried US/UK/Japan Coating - each has it own behavior and durability...the longer one i think last me around 5-7 years.
As for LSP/topper/sealant/wax whatever u name it....so far didn't expensive there being 'ineffective' sitting on top of each others...i still apply different type of product after wash or/and dry....
Hi, any user tried the above? What's the durability like? Seems a lot easier than other ceramic albeit shorter flash time and shorter durability <6 mths....
May i suggest you to SET 1 or 2 top priority what do you want 'get' out from your investment ? Is it durability ? Ease of application (usually inclusive of surface preparation, cure time etc) or others (Gloss level, sheeting, beading behavior)....
Nowadays - many 'Lite' & '+' naming product tend to go for more affordable level but at the same time buyer get what they pay for - generally least durable. Sames goes to when you send to shop and buy their 'package'....1,3,5 years warranty etc.
Not to be sarcastic, current world where tones of information available over the internet/video etc...try to explore more brand and understand each of their 'uniqueness' ...even in Lazada and Shopee you can find alot more brand to do comparison - but video/detailing review website definitely give u more information....
Ah...getting too long winded. Thought i already retired from detailing but the passion in it still burning ...if want more 'poison' ..10 day 10 night x boleh habis cerita...
Tip : Some maker does offer 'sample' kit - enough to do 1 car and they available for sale....you may check around ...you will surprise it cost only 1/10 or 1/20 of the cost compare to you sending your car to the shop to do the coating 'package'
video is good for reference but sometime don't too over 'educate' or 'attract' by certain term etc....we need to have own judgement somehow somewhere...common sense too...
Any Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer (BSD) (287 400) fans here?
Just thought I should share this - I found some "ridiculously cheap" Sonax BSD (~RM50) on Shopee (but they're shipped from Vietnam). I said "ridiculously cheap" because Sonax BSD is being sold at RM150 in the Malaysian official store.
Are these fake products? Or are we being ripped off by the local distributor?
