If not mistaken, less than RM25. Can't recall the price now but quite worth it la. It's very big though, similar to bath towel size so I can use the 'dryer' areas to wipe the windscreens and flip again for roof/doors etc. I stocked up on towels from Osren too on their Lazada/Shopee page.

give their HQ a visit a Kepong. They do sell in bulk (eg buy 2 packs of 3MFs, free 1 pack) smile.gif

So, my wife's Honda City has bad watermark on the windscreen. Decided to give it a polish, started at the driver side and I was pretty patient... so that side looked much better while I go to passenger side I got more and more lazy ._.

Oh well, sealed it up since it looked much better anyways. Only issue is the edges where my DA not able to go close... weekend gonna do the rear windscreen, the edges probably use my mini 3" rotary to cover while the middle portion can use the 5" DA.

And damn just got info that my company has 100% WF approval from MITI... haiya. But still gonna be running 2 crew so evening time can do this hehe. Gonna do the windscreen and windows then move to body paint. Slowly ๐Ÿ˜…

That's true. A lot of products not available here which is unfortunate but understandable. Too small a market for them.

Tho I think you could probably source Dodo Juice products here, but I did not research into it because they probably are more expensive tongue.gif
*
oh its a new local brand... thanks!

Dodo Juice MY closed down few years back... that time "lelong" price was rclxm9.gif

So MCO period is the time where I go to war against glass watermark, I tried several combinations with my 5" and 3" DA, but didn't get consistent result. This time around I tried with my 3" rotary (well I didn't have a big rotary so the mini lah). Results are much better! But the weather kinda spoilt it, so... evening continue.

Just to share, sometimes normal spray bottles are not suitable to store some strong chemicals. For example, my below normal spray bottle bought from ACE hardware, distorted after I used it to store Osren's brake dust remover.

Of course there is also the possibility of this spray bottle being a lemon. Tho I would advise caution.

best to get chemical resistance sprayer bottle + head.

with your existing "setup", you can rinse the sprayer head after each use with water... occasionally "release" the gas fume too.

That's the acid type right? Is it way stronger than CarPro Spotless? I tried Spotless, it didn't work sad.gif and Spotless is acid (mild I guess) type too, if kena hand will have the burning feeling uhh.

The side glass not doable I guess, cause it has vertical scratches from the opening and closing of the glass.
*
erm never tried Spotless... come back to kepong to test biggrin.gif

Btw, may I ask between multi clean and Degreaser FX, which would you prefer for use as APC?
*
Multi Clean (harder to rinse) is stronger than Degreaser FX (easier to rinse)... so bought another 20L multi clean last 2 weeks biggrin.gif.

but I also have 2 gallons of Meguiar's APC (bought during sale) rclxm9.gif

Yeah, I'm also curious with my car paint thickness :S, need to proceed with extreme care. I guess they paint are thinner now cause of the way it is sprayed, they can same quality with thinner paint. The japanese car makers are extra thin, and well the continentals are much thicker. Not sure about those CKD continentals.

I eventually zoned down to CEM DT-156 instead of the Nicety CM8801FN (cause the CEM DT-156 seems more feature packed, with the statistics and USB transfer to PC). But CM8801FN has much bigger display.
hmm.gif I remember you were the one burning me non stop weh haha. And there was another guy buying MF clothes tongue.gif. Can't recall his name.
20L nano wash? How long is that going to last you!?
*
I have the CEM DT-156... worth the investment smile.gif
The savings from 20L vs 4L is a lot... biggrin.gif

What's the diff between Bubble Wash and Nano?
*
unpaid promoter hahahaha..... i share with others, what i like to use....
Nano is purely shampoo without any "wax" and highly concentrated than Bubble and Wax. Previously Nano wash was purple and has a grape scent!

This came in the mail today, my tape is running out and decided to try different sizes and brands. Oh the bright green looks nice ๐Ÿ˜† first impression, they all feels very smooth to the touch! My previous is a little rough, now I hope it does not leave residue.

If you want to reduce the tackiness, lightly tape your shirt then tape the panel/car. Plus if possible dont run over the tape with your machine.

What is the 4L and 20L price for Nano Wash now? Well the price I referenced was 20L Bubble Wax and the 4L Nano Wash I bought in 2017  laugh.gif
Not sure but 20L Multi Clean is RM138.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 10 2020, 07:44 PM)
Hmm, leaving residue and tackiness has correlation? I thought good tapes would be strong + don't leave residue?

Side note, I kinda like seeing 50:50 during test panels... hard to resist overlapping with machine  laugh.gif
*
erm i prefer to have sufficient "grip" between tape and body panel smile.gif

sometime its hard to remove the 50:50 line... I've encountered it twice on black coloured cars.

Wanna ask you guys, if your car is dirty but you have just washed your car yesterday, how do you deal with it? Rewash? Leave it till your next wash schedule? Or just rinse it?

I usually just power rinse it, but i dont wipe it dry because theres still obvious micro dirt on it, but because of that there are many water marks now.

Blower is out of questions, because i think my neighbor will think i am a mad man using blower on car.
*
1. rewash the car
2. onr the car
3. leave it until your next wash ( i normally choose this )

Ahh I usually do that but issue is... drying the car after. Iโ€™m thinking ONR 1:16 QD might be better solution to avoid water marks. But the cloth usually becomes very contaminated with the bird poo.

time to invest on a blower too.. cordless thumbup.gif
