A little frustrated over car wash that did a shoddy job on polishing and waxing my car that ends up with tons of spider web under the bright sunlight.

I'm deciding whether if it is worth to invest in a car polisher and do it myself instead? Between Bosch GPO12ce and Hitachi SAT180, whats the major differences? Are both beginner friendly?
*
If u have never used a polisher machine on your car before, then a rotary polisher like the Bosch or Hitachi u mentioned is a risky purchase. U may have a high chance of burning your paint, and u may end up not solving your spider web issue also. Possibly the reason why the car wash did a shoddy polish job is because they are also using rotary polishers but lack the experience to know how to do the fine finishing correctly.

I agree with slk, DA polisher is a much better option. Personally from my old detailing shop days, we used to do the first layer polish with rotary, then subsequent polishes with DA to get a hologram and spider web free finishing.

I have PMed u a polisher that I have for sale, see if u are interested.

Wa...Rm 61 with postage sounds like too good to be true.
Perhaps u may try to check on the bottom of wax can, whether it has the "soft99" logo or not, this is what I have heard from others to determine its authenticity.

I get it already , not sure it's fake or not , but it write in english , the other soft 99 product like the Mirror Coating , Compound Z , Glaco i buy is write in japan , so it real or fake? But i compared to my friend soft99 it exactly same , also write in english instruction

Plus i bought MJJC Foam Lance
That is for pre-wash foaming
Also use it to wash floor, carpet, bbq pit etc etc

Diy is always better. simply because no one would take better care of your car than yourself.
it is entirely up to you.

i do light polishing every 2 1/2 months for paint cleaning purposes.

outside....i don't know what combo they use, might be aggressive enough that polishing every 2 1/2 months would have your clear coat stripped.

Agreed. Don't think it is a good idea to polish the car at auto detailer too often. May wear off the clear coat layer prematurely. Best is once or twice a year unless the workmanship at the auto detailer is excellent and the workers really knows how to polish the car properly(extremely rare).
