Wonder how would WoW run on a normal white Macbook.

omg....
i am downloading TBC thru wow official site, and guess what.

the first time im downloading it, it says 'tbc slim installer' = 1.8GB. i've downloaded till 200mb++.

then 2 days ago it changed to 'tbc full installer' which is 2.08gb. so i just download that full one. up to 60% last night.

just now, it changes back to slim one, which i already deleted. haihzzzz............

2 of my guidlies are playing WoW on iBook.

Warrior complained very slow FPS;
Mage thinks it's ok.

running normal WoW (Azeroth) should be ok. not sure about the BC expansion since that one needs a lot of power.

as for FPS being slow, sometimes it's the connection so hard to say lah.

connection wont affect fps, fps is frames per second, its purely from your computer's capabilities. biggest contributor of this is of course your graphic card, and of course provided it has sufficient processing power/memory so it wont be bottlenecked.

and. mac sucks.

Mac sucks for ppl who dunno how to use it. It almost never crashes, it doesn't get viruses. Why not? An apple a day keeps Bill Gatez away~

show me a mac thats able to go quad SLI, and all that jazz

and im pretty sure, except blizz being generous having WoW and most, if not all their games mac compatible, gaming in mac is like running urself into a brick wall.

pretty much, its not about knowing how to use it or not, its about what you want to do with a pc and what ur able to do with it. mac's options are just too limited.

stop living in denial and crawl outta that hole, unless ur main pc usage is graphic designing or whatever little crap mac is good at compared to a pc, pc > mac.

Hmm... for once I'd like to try an all Malaysian guild. just some quick question... (sorry if it's answered before but I'm too lazy to browse thru a 38 page thread)

1- Do you have vent?
2- If I start a lvl 1 char... what are the chances I get to run SM or BRD?? or I am expected to solo 1~60? (in old server RFC and SM are pretty much dead)
3- Which class you guys required for raiding? (my fav list are top down)
a- Orc Hunter (never played hunter before)
b- Orc Warlord
c- Orc Warrior
d- Troll Rogue
e- Bloodelf Pally
f- Cow Shammy
g- Priest/Mage/Druid (Tired of these class especially priest)
4- Do you have a guild enchanter/ achemist??

currently we have teamspeak server and its up. but it can only support not so many users. we are looking into TS or vent that can support up to more then 40 users soon.

currently we have many members leveling at the range of 30 to 70. we have only a few leveling at 20 to 30. If u want to run those instances, i doubt that we have guild members that can run the same instances together with you. possibly u can get 1 or 2, but not full guild run. but since the server itself is quite new, there are good chances u can run those instances with PUG. however, there is a bright chance for u to run instances together with us if level up quickly and catch up with the level 30-40 group.

we actually have every class for rading already for our 1st raiding group. since TBC has 10 and 25 man raid, we going to have several group which is categorized between elite raiders, casual raiders and casual peon. its up to you which group u want yourself to belong.

yes. his name is romancer. or is it notendon??? we also have our own jewelcrafters, leatherworkers, engineers, banks (stuff, gems, recipe), etc etc.

Selling Knothide Leather is crazy profitable (16g a stack - better G here than mining imo), and selling Knothide Armor Kits (6g each made with 6 Knothide - +8 stam to feet, legs, hands, chest) is even more profitable.

btw I've checked the guild population, the most played is Warlock and Rogue... hunter's population is just fine.

yupyup ingame name is Raichu..

According to our latest figures HERE Hunters lead in class count in guild with 34. Whats lacking is Druids and Shammys.

Hunters can be good DPS. My guild has a seriously good MM hunter that outDPS-es fire mages in pre-Karazhan gear. Much to the annoyance of the other guild mages. Hee hee...

Sorry haven't been online lately. Very hard with 2 many characters around.
