48/80 is just the max write speed.... Compare it to a 1cm diameter straw and a 0.5cm diameter straw, given maximum pressure, you can blow more water out of the 1cm diameter straw. Keep in mind however that we don't really need that 'flow' rate, most of the time the smaller straw will cater to our blowind requirements
Why I say best 80 is cause its recommended you use that spec.... But am saying that in using 48 with no issue..
what so far knew are: a) sandisk is the one which causing most incompatibility, so better don touch sandisk - Ya I have read in this thread or other forum, already forget, sandisk sometime have problem with xiaomi dashcam.
b) 80mb/s , 48mb/s i think more like advertising words, the manufacturer may use data speed of writing or data speed of transferring, "up to" is the keyword c) samsung one some reviews said the card die fast, not as durable as kingston -This is true, happen to me. Just use samsung micro sd card 2month for my handphone, suddenly die without any activity read and write.
so i think juz class 10 + genuine card is enough lah, fake card + class 10000 also die

I got no problems using Samsung Evo 64GB with the Xiaoyi dashcam...
Samsung not as durable as kingston. I'm using Samsung Evo & Evo Plus. No issue so far. Kingston heard lots of fault cases. Well all your luck.

Mine just arrived a few days back. It was Dual USB charger as well.
thank you guys for your reply, really appreciate it . spoke to seller (a nice lady from atcetera solutions) & said this is new packaging (reassured by pointing out that there is "YI" logo printed on it). will test it out and see how it goes. if not, probably get dual usb from Xiaomi M'sia after they restock.
