Happens mainly to older figures
NEVER display your figures if your room is hot. I know, whole day on aircond = electric bill, but if your room is warm and u let figures out like that u r asking for trouble. Figures might lean over time but newer quality figures have ABS and steel rods incorporated in the leg to prevent that. Of course, cheapskate kotobukiya doesnt do that, so be careful with koto figures.

Hi all,

it has been a while since I was post in these thread until i recently notice her, I feel so tempting to order her.

10540 yen from big in japan
http://biginjap.com/en/pvc-figures/14300-s...d-touka-18.html

10570 yen from amiami
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?sc...-021776&rank=rk

big in japan estimated Fedex shipping with 1800 yen, EMS with 2400 yen
so big in japan can get 12340 yen (Fedex) or 12940 yen (EMS)
amiami get 12970 yen (based on BIJ EMS estimation)

which is ranging from RM486 - 511 based on current exchanged rate.
I wonder will it safe to pass the custom?
I never bought anything from big in japan before, how was their service and estimated shipping (is it accurate?)

or is there any other online site which has comparable price?

BininJap is known for low shipping costs but when comes to parcel protection Amiami is way better. All the stuffing led to a bigger carton box, hence a higher shipping cost. I have gotten away with over RM600 easily without getting taxed though.

Drag it all the way to airport from the inn (taking train of course). For the yukata, I bought it at one of the shop in the streets near Senso-ji, but not the main Nakamise-doori street

I just wondering how you pack all your stuff you bough and bring it to Malaysia.

Anyway, never though you go to Yokosuka. That dreadnought ship is really interesting place to visit (bough a yukata and furisode at Yokohma as souvenir - its 4 years ago lol)

About the above, not just hot room.

Some rooms are not hot BUT if there's sunrise or sunset hitting any of the display case, it could also melt the pvc.

I experienced this before, put my collection display cabinet. It's all fine and dandy but then I discovered one of it got sticky, then only I realize it was because that cabinet got hit by sunrise during certain time of the season.

So you can imagine, that's heat from the morning sun a few hours a day. sad.gif

Haha scroll down the page and you will see 2 luggage bags with each of them has a box strapped-on tongue.gif Since I stayed there for 1 week only and the inn has washing machine, I only bring 4 shirts (including the one I wore departing to Japan), 3 pants (including the initial clothes), 1 kain pelikat and few stockings and underwear. The mags if you did not buy a lot is fairly easy to hide, especially when your luggage consists of multiple big bags/boxes tongue.gif

Usually older figurines (those before ABS were introduced as material for figurines) and those prize figure; basically those that were made by certain mix of PVC that cannot withstand constant heat.
