hmm any one knows where to get like those plastic/glass display steps to boost the figure height?

So far, after 2 month my acrylic display case doesn't seems collect lots of dust (just some few tiny bit but unnoticeable), due to it's air-tight design. Quite happy with it, so doesn't need to clean often.
The joinery really fits the hole. Only the corner outside the case collect some dust, try find the way to enter inside.


Comparison between my DIY acrylic case (top part) at the left & gundam acrylic case at the right (large one that you can find at any toys shop). The top part almost the same size as my coffee table (don't mind with my table, sorry).


As my IKEA cabinet display (actually its glass display cabinet), it got some small space between the door with the head and bottom of cabinet (around 3/ 4 mm); which make the dust and the spider to enter inside the cabinet (and the spidey enjoy it's new & comfortable home. Problem human?)

I'm not usually into moe or cute characters, but the figures coming from Granblue are looking great so far.
Especially this one!






But it's about 13,000 Yen, and some commenters on myfigurecollection are saying that it's from Kotobukiya, which where their quality is ranges from okay to decent only, not great. What do you guys think?

Where did you buy the DIY acrylic case and how much was it?

As for Kotobukiya, I guess it really depends on your luck...I have a few by them, and so far, no issues...Quite a few of my favourite figures in my collection are by them, actually...

Well, if you do decide to buy it, good luck, I hope there are no issues...Just don't expect perfection...Its true that Kotobukiya have not reached the heights of top-tier manufacturers like Alter in terms of production quality consistency, but personally, I enjoy a lot of their creations...In the end, enjoyment is what I truly look for in a figure...

I may have made Koto sound like they make bad quality figures...They don't...Simply put, quality wise (paint,sculpting, etc), they make good figures, great ones every now and then...
