1.EMS and DHL my experience with both have been equal so far...both took similar amount of time to reach my house..
if the area that u stay have bad pos laju service then DHL might be a better choice(? not confirmed just taking a wild guess)
anyway when u choose shipping method amiami will show the shipping fee that u need to pay..and of course u will choose the cheaper among the two smile.gif

2. paypal is just another payment gateway nothing special about it..
u create a paypal account and link ur credit card with the account to pay
be careful though as there are two choice for exchange rate used one is paypal's rate the other one is ur credit card issuer's rate (u need to compare and see which one gives better rate)
I think someone here once said the difference in the exchange rate between paypal and ur CC issuer are too not big of a difference

3. I dont remember using paypal to pay amiami for first time purchase..might be policy change?
Have been using my credit card to pay for long time

Thank you.

Btw just bought some preowned nendoriod. Some of them have rust on the screw (stand). Any prevention can be done for my future nendoriod collection? WD40 perhaps?

Grand Toys aka Griffon Enterprise going to bungkus? Preorders for few of their figures suddenly opened at Amiami with largely slashed price. Last time this kind of thing happened, the company for the figures bungkus afterwards. Can't remember which company.

Hi, want to ask if my items are declared as figures, CIF under RM500 and shipped by registered SAL. What are the chances of kena tax?

personally, none of my figures kena tahan... whether under or above rm500 (nowadays, most figures + shipping easily more than rm500).

on a separate note, noticed that some of my figures are suffering from colour fade. they're inside the cabinets and not exposed to the sun, at normal room temperatures but still they don't seem to age gracefully. guess i've gotto give up collecting 'em for more sustainable pursuits cry.gif

hey when u have more free time can invest in repairing the figures that have faded i am sure it will be quite fun (maybe can make a career out of it too) biggrin.gif

personal thought stuff that get colored will sooner or later have their color faded maybe wrap in plastic or put in vacuum environment only can prevent it? hmm.gif
might be something I will research when i got bored

I think it also depends on the materials of the figure. I found some of my figure become sticky even it's outside of the box and some didn't even sealed inside box for years.

I mean even they're mostly PVC, but their composition might be slightly different.

my sentiments exactly! have been looking out for them lights and knives ever since laugh.gif

p.s. for the most part, they're also more affordable than my diecast aircraft collection! shocking.gif

Well it depends.

I almost pulled the trigger on a CR Mnandi with oak grip on my last trip to the states, but didnt go thru cause i feel its abit too small for my hands.... that would have set me back around $400 tongue.gif

Edit : I also have a collection of katanas, but more affordable ones.. so around 2~3k each only. Good quality and price for the amount of work/material involved...

nah, not into those. more into the more practical carry-ons like the swiss army knives.

back to figures... it's such a pity really. they're gorgeous. guess beauty is fleeting sweat.gif

but i guess ryutaro is right... there's an opportunity right there for those who are able to revitalise dull/discoloured figures.
