agreed. i self-assembled three detolfs but really not recommended coz u gotto hope and pray the glass panels stay put ie the back stays up as u hold the two side panels in place.

2nd tier is like maybe kotobukiya, etc

i wonder how is flare figure? got 1 figure im interested
any1 bought flare figures be4? how is their quality and such?

just wanna know how r other company rating too, like alphamax, aquamarine, megahouse, phat company, skytube, freeing, plum, etc.

and because of myr so dam weak, im wanna save as much as possible, is sal postage ''safe'' or good enough aside from slow, i dont mind slow at all, important thing is that my item can arrive just as safely as ems, chance of getting tax same as ems, can be tracked, etc [overall just as same as ems]. from what i know is that it is higher chance of missing item, no insurance? and untrackable?

So far SAL small packet or SAL air registered is ok for me, over more than 10 figures with that shipping method, no issue.

possible i always build it alone, I use the wall to support the glass while piecing 3 sides together

yeah i can vouch for this as I used the same. SAL registered pricer figures/ SAL unregistered for cheaper stuffs (anime goods). ordered through HLJ amiami mandarake Hobbysearch all arrived safely. Usually 2-3 weeks.

Anyone know whether are they sending back the package to Amiami? I did not receive any fail to deliver letter also in my post box.

I think sooner or later they will notify you to come collect at post office. This one either nobody was at delivery location to collect your stuff or the posmen lazy to send to your delivery location and simply declared fail to deliver. Not EMS right?

Maybe u can go post office and show them the tracking number if u have time and want collect item faster..i rmb once before i faced the same thing, no notice left at letter box but I know my item failed to deliver today so I just go post office directly without the notice..(my case the post office in pj seksyen 51A operates till 8pm weekday)

But the japan pos status is weird..if retention ur item won't be showing Processed at Kelana Jaya office..

I got my "fail to deliver" letter today and the date written was 6 Oct. Why did they only deliver that notice today?

Normally they should be placing the notice directly when failed to deliver...maybe someone took it and place it back today (if u staying at condo)?
Anyway luckily item not sent back to japan

hmm i think u misread the post malaysia tracking status u need to go from bottom to top lol refer to the date on the leftmost column and u will have a clearer picture

I know, just wondering why they didn't give full details of unsuccessful delivery and I did not receive the fail to deliver notice in my mailbox on the day itself. Only received it today.

oh that..get used to it, sometimes they didnt deliver to my hse when clearly my parents are at home they also leave no reason on their system, it's either the system is bugged or there is a loophole where their employee is allowed to leave blank reason..

Because 7th and 8th are weekend It could be because the postman failed to reach your location on 6th.

Unless the price+shipping goes way over RM500, unlikely that customs will tax/open to check the contents. Random checks may happen, but again, rare for stuff declared under 500. With shipping, this goes slightly over 500, probably won't trigger anything. For taxes, anything over RM500 is taxable, but kinda depends on your luck. Sometimes, even stuff declared over 500 can pass through.

Still, if you want to be on the safer side, just go with nippon-yasan and request they declare a lower value (not too low, that might cause suspicions). Fingers crossed, Holo will safely arrive at your doorstep.
