Today I just bought a M1310.
Hehehe... dont laugh, it sounded pretty good for a sub $100 speaker.
Using it for my office pc... its acceptable... tot of buying something better but dont have enough space so ended up with this...

5.1 will better in movie no doubt, but 2.1 won't lose, if with proper setup.

I suppose you are talking about Klipsch GMX 5.1(since RM 1500)? I doubt if GMX 5.1 will sounds nicer than Z5500. Talking about serious audition, I suppose you have both GMX 5.1 and Z5500? Or you had spent quite some time auditing/testing both Z5500 and GMX with proper setup(or maybe AB test?)? That's why you can conclude that RM 1500(Z5500) is a piece of junk.

Well I second what he stated out, z5500 seriously is just a see-no-go kind of 5.1 something like you'll like it on the first impression which will give u a WOW factor "bass heavy" i too got impressed by it at first but then listening to it carefully the clarity is just well isnt there, got sunk into somewhere in between those overwhelmingly strong bass..i think sometimes some people think that a highly priced speaker would be good but then..

and klipsch it tends to be on the opposite of the logitech, it gets damn too bright when its on high volume totally unlistenable

and these 2 statements are made after trying out both of these speakers a few days too in that case, oh ya and age does matter sometimes old is gold look at some of the old timers here they do post in a way which I really have a sense of respect for them
