Still under develop and they planning to change the Woofer RMS to 250w RMS. The new S2.1D with 8" woofer (around 140W RMS) will be available b4 de S2.1MKII.

Very lucky on my trip to Edifier factory cause got the chance to met up Phil - a very nice guy. He share alot of his spk experience with me.

i guess i better settle for S2.1D.i think 140W is more than enough to blow my house down...combined wattage of M3300 and M3400 is driving my parents crazy already...

and for 2.1 woofer 250w..sh__!

Correct me if I wrong...last time the subwoofer was 180 watt nw change to 250 w...izit correct?

Not confirm yet, still waiting for the update but they already have the tech. haha..

watt how much is nothing, the only thing we should concern is the sound output nice or not. anyway thanks a lot to Mr. Edifier keep update us, i am waiting for this speaker also.

Dun worry DotA 5.84C -AR, they r still improve the SQ of the S2.1MKII. The unit in showroom got very big diff with the unit i tested in China - for the unit i tested in China the driver already replace by new tweeter(S2000) and woofer(new driver) into to the new S2.1MKII i tested in China. Beside that, Phil is there tuning the system too.

Since this is Edifier's Top range, it definitely will not disppointed all the Edifier fan.

can't wait to compare to the AegoM.

I hope this subwoofer bass is even better compare to the Logitech Z5500...nt even that, the price oso must be lower than Rm800 since this is 2.1 nt 5.1 ma....My fren said that Edifier subwoofer won't able to beat his logitech z5500, come on Edifier...compare to logitech z5500, Edifier must win..

why 2.1 can not more than RM800? how about S2000? just 2.0 dont even have subwoofer but selling at RM1500 still got ppl buy. if the sound quality is superior than s2000 how u all think the price?

Don't worry dude, for old S series we really cannot compete with their high end cause we still don't have the technology during that time but now everything is chang with Peter & Phil we can easily design something to compete iwth them.

It will not disappointed u this time. I promise.

Test out the Edifier car spk too on my trip to China. The SQ is really good and trying to get few pair fr them to installin my car.

Hehehe...Let me know which 1 is ur car then I will steal your car....hehehe

But really, the sound is very good until u can believe no amp & sub was install

S2000 is better than Aego M and the price must over than that la...S2.1MKII like Logitech Z5500...but rm 1450..it is a 5.1...so edifier must clever in marketing ma, must knw wat price is the best...

U juz make me itchy to get 1 of those...Edifier u juz make syok until wan go to showroom and blast ur S2.1MKII ...Nth la..kidding only...Juz update the date arriving of S2.1MKII and the price laa

I'm new to 5.1 speaker , i just bought a R501MKII , er... but i found tat when i listen to music... only the center speaker hav the artis sound , others 4 speaker is jsut music... and the music like inside the water a bit blur blur and slow one... izzit normal or i hav set wrong some setting?

i don't agree with about the bold part. the subwoofer "look like" Z5500 only. the display unit at show room already pawn Z5500 far in sq. their satelite have a better clarity, the over all sound stage is richer than z5500, and the subwoofer have better quality bass than z5500, z5500 bass is boomy. may be the final version S2.1MKII will have equal or better sq than S2000 who know. if the sq is really superb, RM2k i also buy

Using S2000 tweeter doesn't means more expensive...if Edifier target for Rm2000 mayb most of them will buy Z5500..5.1 will always better than 2.1...Rm2000 for 2.1..then most of us think y i must pay for a 2.1 with heavy bass...y shouldn't choose Aego M? Rm2k, most ppl will buy yamaha sub...more better! Rm1k mayb will some1 buy ma..2k fulawei...If the price like this then S5.1MKII must be Rm3000++ lo..u buy than other no need to buy lol.....juz giving my opinion..

i still remember why i fall in love with edifier when i 1st bought my m3400.

the reason is...
quality at reasonable price...

lets hope this wont change forever ever
