i just come out from some "PC fair" from Alor Star..found e3100 RM180++ and M1310 rm115 ..can't find any M2300 there.damn..

what's the different between bass reflex and bandpass..i've google it but don't understand

Bro, can post some pic about ur speaker system ? i wan to know whether the center speaker is horizon or vertical .....


i saw the pic on inter-asia webby the center speaker is vertical design(mean Edifier plate is place horizontally) and i also saw a demo set in all it hyper which the center speaker is vertically, but i ask the sell man there , he say tat is R501......

so tat i wan to comfirm whether the R501MKII center speaker design is place horizontally"----" or vertically"|"....



let c the pic , the center speaker (the 1 below the remote control ) the "edifier" plate on the speaker is placed same with others speaker (left right surround) placed horizontally....(mean the center speaker same with the normally 1 buy just rotate it from standing to sleeping... )

But the one i saw in All it when the center speaker is placed in "sleeping" but the " edifier" plate is horizontal and when it is standing is vertical .....

if u dunno wat i mean just snap a photo of ur center speaker ..... bro i hope u can share some info with me..... thx for ur help first.....

@ne3ro. its different in type of enclosure. okay so we're talking about edifier not about those RM1K+ speakers. basically, single bandpass subwoofer produce greater bass at midbass freq so its good for SPL. but its very bad for low frequency like those for movies. thats y E3100 is not suitable for blasting cause of this purpose... it produce great bass, but when it comes to lower freq, you;ll notice so called early distortion. once again this one is for quick comparison only, dont use ths statement on those expensive speakers cause those expensive one really2 different...~~ haha

i guess the "sleeping" edifier emblem is the MK2 one...

I don't use Edifier's now.. been using Altecs since the start of this year..

As long as your satellite have 2 drivers - 1 tweeter & 1mid-range than it is MK2.

no la the bottom one hor mean when putting in sleep position and the plate put horizontal look nicer.... it look more like a Center speaker but if vertical plate hor , it look like normal left n right speaker doent look nice...ZzzZ

After getting the r501-mk2 yesterday this problem came up,

1. When testing, the center sound came out from the left-rear speakers as if the two were switched.
2. While the right-rear speaker has no sound coming out.

I bought the 5.1 speakers back to the dealer and they tested them.. all five speakers were working fine, but the moment I brought them back the exact same problem came up again.

The dealer said I should uninstall/reinstall the creative drivers so I did. After that, the exact same problem still came up.

Using SB Live DE 5.1.

Hope someone here can help, I posted in the creative forums but the place doesn't seem to be very responsive judging from the unanswered threads lying about.

One weird thing, if I turn on 'Digital Output Only' in SB surround mixer, the right-rear speaker that was soundless suddenly emits very loud static, like an untuned radio.

The Edifier AudioPro S2.1 MK2




The wired controller with the 2.5 inch LCD display is quite sexy looking. Well since it is in August, I don't mind saving up money for it.

exactly... its so similar even when i saw Z5500 i thought its the MK2...
