The Edifier AudioPro S2.1 MK2

The wired controller with the 2.5 inch LCD display is quite sexy looking. Well since it is in August, I don't mind saving up money for it.
PC Audio Edifier Fan Club V3, where great sound comes to life =)

^^ Like RM600++?
Because even something as powerful as the MK2 would be as competitively pegged at the AltecLansing's MX5021 pricing. And to add, that MK2's sub is freaking huge. It looks like a cryo freezer-slash-bomb casing. |

Phil Jones is the designer of the MKII series. I've seen the 'look see' model at the Sri Computers (which I think has a good collection of PC speakers) and I the LCD unit is very light and the subwoofer is very heavy.
Must test the sound system though at the Edifier show room. |

Ahh probably a distributor to repackage it to the Korean market in another brand name.
(i.e Kembara in Malaysia, in Japan its called the Daihatsu Terios; same car, similar technology) |

QUOTE Hmm.. How bout S530D. Is it out yet? At the Edifier booth as I stepped into the Audio Hall of the PC Fair, the price of the the S.21D/S530D is placed at RM729. Pretty pricey if I do say so (despite the good sound quality) where as at comparison, there are powerful speakers in the form of the Altec Lansing MX5021 @ RM599 and the Logitech Z2300 @ RM589. |

RM680 for the S530D? A little bit more expensive than the Logitech Z2300 @ RM659.
Still I think all of the speakers at Edifier have a price hike (costs increasing?) when I saw all of the Audio/Speakers booth at the recent PC Fair. |
