puxing and similar do not really have a VFO mode or tone search. Worse the S meter is either full or zero. But half the price of either the icom or yaesu hmmm but icom or yaesu retains resale value. I've got a receiver before I passed my exam .. with transceiver, you tend to play around with pushing the PTT when you've the radio.. with a receiver, I couldn't do this for sure.. BUT .. receivers are usually more expensive .. since you could monitor more frequencies. |

im looking for a swr meter for 2m and 70cm band wan dun mind if itz used, but budget tight lor or or anyone has 1 in pg which i can loan? my fren n i wana tune our yagi n im building a simple 1/4 wave for my hseee
