Yupp Malaysian ones. They are basically hobbyist but do sell Radios to new hobbyist. Their prices are really good and more importantly trustworthy.
Their reputation at stake here as amateur radio "gang" are very small. Wiraone cool down bro heheheh... There are always some self proclaimed policemen trolling on this forum. I love the RM6 per piece DVD sold rampantly near SS2 police station too. When they clean these up then we can talk about amateur radio enforcement. I think only a handful of forumers here know my callsign |

Haa..haa.. selective enforcement is surely not the answer and this so called self-proclaimed policemen should not be an ****-HOLE.. I've know many that they thought could 'contribute' to the ham community in Malaysia .. by becoming a PET .. (or PEST to the others).. |

rabinder, if 14 yrs old girl can pass the exam, I guess it is not that hard. Have a look at mares website (www.mares.org.my) and you could download the MCMC guideline there.. read it till you puke .. exams usually twice in a year, one in June and another in Nov/Dec. Sample RAE is everywhere, MCMC is using the one close to those from NZ and OZ questions .. so, check our NZART sample questions.

What can pick up police signal? If you mean monitoring the frequencies used by the Police, then, nope .. most if not all radios used by amateurs couldn't not monitor the frequencies. But if you're interested on what they're talking about, you're free to go to any police station or beat and sit there all day long .. monitor what they're talking about on their radios.

Yes you can monitor Police Freq at certain time when they are using their old sets. Their newer Motorola the police using enryption and all you hear are static. Police Freq 170.025 if you willing to scan.
