u may go along the line of Noctua and Noise Blockers though these will cost a lot to attain... easilly RM60+ each.. LYN's champ is Artic Cooling F12 wink.gif but sadly it only comes in 120mm locally

90mm fans are kinda hard to distinguish cause its not widely available in the market.... not much choice for 80mm as well sadly.. only can find CM fans mostly

U may wanna order in the Artic cooling F9 if ur desperate for a good fan... no idea whats the price gonna be

I saw the NFP12 a few months back in LYP but I never had any experiences with them myself so I dunno how good they are compared to the AC F12

Seems like the ac f12 is the current best case fan to take with price/performance/noise balance.
Sadly the don't make a transparent unit. My side panel fan hole smack at the acylic window. sad.gif

But we should be glad that they at least had some sense of aesthetic and chose white blade and black frame, instead of whatever color Noctua chose laugh.gif

+1 nod.gif

however no one is bringing the f9 and f8 versions to the local market... those using hyper tx3 are half crying (like my sis) for a quieter solution without spending too much

some tips when choosing fan.

"
RPM = Rate of fan spinning. Higher the RPM, the higher the airflow and noise.

CFM = A general measurement of airflow. The higher, the better the cooling, in theory.

Static Pressure = the amount of CFM that penetrates heatsinks or radiator fins. The higher the better performance for heatsinks.

Size = Thicker fans tend to have better static pressure.

DBA = A general noise measurement. The lower the better.

Quality = The better the quality, the more accurate the above ratings, and the longer lasting the fan.

Bearing type = This determines a lot. Here are some common ones.
-Sleeve. These are very quiet and inexpensive. However, their life span is pretty low depending on the quality. Some low quality ones have problems being mounted horizontally.
-Ball bearing. These are some of the most long lasting fans you can buy. They are also loud.
-Fluid. There are a lot of fluid bearings, such as hydro-ball bearings. These are quieter than ball bearing and longer lasting than sleeve. They tend to be unreliable with their airflow and RPMs.
-Proprietary. These are getting very common. They are odd designs made by companies. Just research them before you listen to the hype. "

Between the 2 120mm I'd pick the AC F12 ... should be quieter as the XSF is rated faster and a slightly louder as well... besides.. white bladed fans looks nicer wink.gif
