I don't feel comfortable to input my CC details before able to subscribe to free trial. I know it can be terminated at anytime but I'm still skeptical.

Yes, if you call now, they will tell you the upload speed is only 5Mbps.
No worries, eventually everyone will get 10Mbps.

20Mbps is also not so good already. Is it something wrong with your router? You can call TM to check further.

1.9.1.9 is already for years, I have seen it on my sister's Streamyx earlier.

It was supposedly upgraded all subscribers to the new upload speed and there was once in January with suddenly most of the forummers got upgraded. Even their website also updated with new upload speed. Then, suddenly they took it down now and revoked back the old upload speed on their page.

Those people have tried turning on and off still nothing changed. So, it will be done by batches.

As for myself, I was really lucky. One of the first ones to get upgraded in this thread, back in mid Nov. It just done automatically without me doing anything.

In fact, many got their speed upgraded without switching on or off router.
