To me, I just grab what it gives first and down the road, 2 years after that I will surely upgrade to higher speed. Probably in two years time, hopefully 30Mbps is considered slow. laugh.gif

Me signed up VIP5 in April 2014, upgraded to VIP 10 in Dec 2014 and upgraded again to 30Mbps in July 2015. By looking at the trend, looks like my next upgrade is coming soon. laugh.gif

I attended a dinner at Aloft KL Sentral just now and my Celcom LTE clocked over 80Mbps. rclxms.gif Looking forward to 100 Mbps. drool.gif

What is unifi service center phone number? Just upgrade to 30 mbps and want to cancel my current hypptv package. Toll free number if possible because sometime need to wait long time for them to pick up.... Thanks.
*
100 is the only no. you can call for Unifi from your fixed line.
Alternatively mobile customers can call TM Customer Service Centre at 1 300 888 123 and +603 2241 1290 if you are calling from overseas. These two numbers are chargeable if call from mobile. 1300 is not toll free.

Cancel current HyppTV package? unsure.gif

i mean i subscribe 1 channel currently and want to cancel it.Is 100 toll free?
*
Your HyppTV cannot be cancelled. You must subscribe to at least a package - Aneka or Varnam if you are using 30Mbps or 50Mbps package.

To answer to your question about 100, if call from TM fixed line is free of charge.

Just found out from TM point that I can terminate without penalty if relocate to area without unifi or streamyx coverage. I requested to temporary suspension, they didn't allow and said it can only allowed if I need to relocate to overseas and installation address remains the same
*
Yes, that is the practice of TM. No coverage in new area then can cancel without penalty.

QUOTE(Fat Cat Lim @ Feb 22 2016, 11:40 AM)
In early February, a TMNet telemarketer told me that the upload speed for 30Mbps plan has been upgraded to 10Mbps, so I agreed to the upgrade from VIP10 to the Advance 30Mbps A couple weeks after the call, I've yet to receive the upgrade. When I tried to upgrade via the TMPoint at UTC KL, they claim that there is no such 10Mbps upgrade for the 30Mbps plan, and they keep referring to their website (which has already reverted back to the old 5Mbps).

For those already on the 30Mbps plan, are your upload speeds constantly 10Mbps? I don't want to sign the contract if my upload speed is dropped to 5 Mbps. If it's already 10Mbps, TMNet is doing a really lousy job at communicating the upgrade in speeds to their on-ground people.
*
My 10Mbps was upgraded since mid of Nov, so three months down the road and still getting it until today.
It will be eventually 10Mbps, no worries just that they took it back probably due to roll out issue. It was already announced on their website.

Today I experience extremely slow downloading speed. Anyone experiencing this today?

I am downloading the TV series LOST. The downloading speed used to be around 50 Kbps.. but today suddenly dropped to about 5 Kbps..

[attachmentid=6032679]

This is really slow! It will take 20 hours to download a 350MB file  sad.gif

It's the source and try downloading from IDM. smile.gif
I never had issue with direct downloading. smile.gif

What is IDM? Internet Download Manager? Please guide me...

What do you mean direct downloading? Yes, I am downloading direct from the source I think.. isn't this direct downloading?

Thanks.
*
Yes, Internet Download Manager.
Just paste the link in IDM and let it download?
Well, downloading from IDM, it is considered as direct download too. laugh.gif Not directly download from website la. laugh.gif

Multiple sessions... I wonder if IDM will be able to do this since I am downloading from file sharing sites without Premium account, so these sites will only allow one download at a time. If so, using IDM will still be faster, compared to downloading in a web browser?
*
My experience is definitely IDM faster than normal websites direct downloading.

Invest in a multi-platforms premium downloader. I used to have that kind of account when I was actively downloading stuff, all done within few minutes and allowed multi connections. These days I just stream my shows.
3 months less than RM 80 or something like that.
No worries about disconnection, can always resume downloads.

Most importantly, much faster than free accounts.

Dear All,

There is a call from TM Net telemarketing department who he offer me to upgrade from my current 5mbps to 30mbps with free Ruby Pack TV channel as long as i stick with Unifi and free voice call too. Therefore, i agree to it. Everything was fine for the 1st 2 month of subscription.

Now the problem comes after the 2 months of subscription:
TM Net has start to charge me for the ruby pack TV (RM40+ per month) which suppose to be free when they call me for an upgrade.

After i call 100, they now tell me that the free ruby pack is only for 1 month (1st month free only). I mean like WTH is that, you told me is free for as long as i stick with Unifi. Now the billing staff say otherwise. Then, she give me a report number and has to wait for 15 days to investigate.

My concern here is does anyone has same issues/ encounter here?

I wonder can i cancel the ruby pack or not if the investigation is not on favor of my side.
*
How about your free voice, still there?

Mine has been removed recently. laugh.gif

Well, what about your Internet?
My Internet is RM 169 - 20 = RM 149 + RM 30 for Aneka = RM 179.
It is separated in bill.
