QUOTE(nikrizal @ Apr 1 2016, 10:57 PM) yup, me too, 50Mbps feel too fast oredi. 4K streaming smooth as butter... but 100, 300 or 500 really make me crazy Like I always say, the faster the better. Once you have it, you can't resist.

Yun Baidu, I also have that to share files with my best friend in China. Since China blocks Google Drive and Dropbox. Hopefully Dropbox is OK because I will need to use it during my trip in China next week.

QUOTE(BlueWind @ Apr 2 2016, 11:45 AM) Not sure why D-Link went with this route. Honestly it looks like a tong sampah to me. Looks like Mac. Still a new router is still a new router.

QUOTE(Rudd @ Apr 3 2016, 09:46 PM) existing rm179@30mbps user also kena ke? No la. QUOTE(supersound @ Apr 3 2016, 10:21 PM) The stupid question is, are you getting full 50mbps all the time? I believe so. Most of us get full speed or even more from our current signed package. I always get 33Mbps for my 30Mbps package.

QUOTE(supersound @ Apr 3 2016, 10:51 PM) How about 50? Or 100? Does the current equipment able to provide those speeds? 100Mbps nobody has got their activated yet, so have to wait. Read few pages back, it seems TM will replace router for 100Mbps. Not sure if I read it correctly. QUOTE(eternity4av @ Apr 2 2016, 08:43 AM) just called 100. For Unifi Pro 100, you need to change your modem. Not sure they are referring to only modem or router included. You can upgrade through online. But you need to have the new equipments beforehand, via 2 options, either self collect at TM point or they will deliver it to you. Basically it's just replacing, and don't require much alteration I guess. Any one subscribed? I have great intention though, is available in my area at Bukit Tinggi, Klang, assuming those that have 50Mbps currently, would be able to support.

QUOTE(supersound @ Apr 3 2016, 11:59 PM) Well, that's good, still they can always use "fair usage policy" to throttle down the max speed. Even without this dirty trick, hardware and server's performance also play important role. At least I don't see others complaining about it. Most of us get our full 30/50Mbps. QUOTE(supersound @ Apr 4 2016, 12:02 AM) Just try to download 24/7 and see what happens. This is how I get throttled And they don't throttle all, just the server that did the most transactions. Like using Mega with download manager you can get max speed all the time and when throttle kicks in, you consider lucky if you still can get 1/6 of your package. I use IDM and I could get 4.5MBps with my 30Mbps package. Consistently 4MBps and above.

QUOTE(yushin @ Apr 4 2016, 11:14 AM) My current VIP10 contract still has 6 months to go, can upgrade to 30M/10M ? Can upgrade, then straight another 24 months. TM is more than happy to do it. I upgraded mine to 30Mbps when I was in my 7-month VIP 10.
