QUOTE(G K Lai @ Mar 2 2016, 01:51 AM) I heard some user complain about TM's Huawei router sucks, but I can get good speed from it's W-Fi signal. Here's the Speedtest result, all default TM equipment with default setting, did the test with my good old Galaxy Note 3 The Huawei router is good too for me but the WiFi signal is not strong and coverage is not far.[attachmentid=6096421] But I do admit this Huawei router really ugly looking. That's why I have an access point from my Xiaomi router to transmit the WiFi signal from my stock router. |

Sigh. Until end of the month and I will be back next Monday. I have a lot of dramas to catch up, why treat me like this?
We should demand for rebate from TM. |

QUOTE(hafiez @ Mar 4 2016, 03:24 PM) Last month i posted here about the billing. Yes, memang due to pro-rated. No worries.First month, TM will charged u rm220, if u upgrade to 30mbps from 5mbps. They replied my email early this week by saying that is pro-rate between billing cycle. I satisfied with the email explanation and pay this month bill. Hopefully next bill i will get around 189 gst incl. |

YouTube videos very depending on the server, some videos are OK while some are not. I always have problems with China shows on YouTube. Others are pretty OK.

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Mar 6 2016, 01:57 PM) After 5 Years using VIP5, But too bad the HyppTV box cannot be flashed to Android box. Decided switched to Unifi Advance 30MB yesterday, re-pull new RJ11 telephone line from the main box directly to my house, due to existing phone-line not able to reach 30MB speed consistently. (I'm staying in Condo first floor) Satisfied the speed, [attachmentid=6121533] and the HyppTV with Ruby Pack work well with my RT-N14UHP. [attachmentid=6121628] the new version of HyppTV so small and come with necessary ports well, i think with build-in Wi-Fi Receiver as well. I also have this. |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Mar 6 2016, 05:01 PM) The built in Browser can work, Ours is not same as discussed, else I would have flashed it long time ago. it can surf, it can open YouTube, but failed to load any videos.. same goes to built-in YouTube apps.. it will show error.. it seems cannot make both LAN (IPTV) and Wi-Fi (Internet) work simultaneously.. I think it can, just I don't know how to configure only although read thru HERE.. |

QUOTE(holymushroom @ Mar 6 2016, 07:50 PM) Lan and wifi can work together, Mine was like that as well when i first get it, but what i did was, immediately after it reboot, open up google play and sign in immediately. Ah really? after that i can always switch from hypp tv and use kodi/mango tv etc that i installed on the box. no issue with the wifi anymore. Why would you wan to flash it to android box? it come with google play store and u can basically install anything you want with the box. The reality is I haven't even turned on the HyppTV. OK, great, then I will try to use it on my TV at hometown. |

I'm finally back at my PJ home after a week in overseas. Speed for local sites is fast.
Got an 175 IP address, will try other sites later. |
