QUOTE(isr25 @ May 10 2016, 11:18 AM) Just met my friendly SA. I may get the first batch as my booking is number 2 in queue Anyway, just a few tidbits: 1. Auto lock is back - it was present in FD, but disappeared in FB - due to JPJ requirements apparently. 2. Android Auto & Apple Car Play READY - means that if Carplay & Android Auto is available in Malaysia, it will be automatically available 3. NO LANEWATCH - this was due to lanewatch is expensive and will push the price to above RM140K for the top of the line Civic Turbo. Honda is keen to keep the price below RM140K for the top of the line spec 4. Most importantly - REAR AIRCOND! Apparently the waiting queue has already reached 4 months here in JB. Might be longer elsewhere though... 4 months for all models? IINM, most of the people will go for 1.5 mid spec

If only Dark Ruby Red Pearl turns out like this... Will look stunning on the Civic. But most of the shots I have seen on the City looks more like Iron Man red which is more maroon-ish instead of orange hues. Reminds me of BMW M Sakhir Orange color which is a lovely color.. QUOTE(celciuz @ May 10 2016, 06:52 AM) RM1k but I haven't booked yet cause I'm not rushing for the car as my wanted number plate still got months to go, most likely end of the year before it comes. Beige color leather seats? Yer... this is disappointing. Car play not sure yet ,,,, As info ,,, the first month will be 3+++ unit will provide for market ... So I think should enough for supply for current market ... I hope...

White Orchid Pearl is Hero color! as it's only appeared for Honda odyssey, honda accord don't have this color too.

I think ruby red tends to look different depends on the lighting condition. In gloomy day it will look maroonish, deep red color if light hit it. I think this color is unique, not too flashy and subtle. But certainly white orchird pearl will be popular choice unlike ruby red. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/651/21544456...413b642ee_c.jpg

Just got more info from my SA. The high spec model gain dual zone aircon, led headlight, fog light, auto headlight adjustable, navi. Not really a big upgrade IMO but I think should be got more things to justify the price.
BTW, anyone bought honda first batch b4. I scare got issue especially the turbo model since it just starting to assemble here in Msia and might not have enough experience. What you think guys?

Ventilated disk brakes and electric seats as well. Agreed that they can add more things to justify say a rm7k difference. This post has been edited by Alternation: May 11 2016, 08:13 AM

Heard that led headlight cost rm2k each so it pretty much justify the price gap. Don't forget premium spec also receives Hydraulic bushing as well.

I scare got issue especially the turbo model since it just starting to assemble here in Msia and might not have enough experience. What you think guys? If you're not in a hurry, always a good idea to purchase 1 year after CKD operations (best after facelift as most minor issues get solved here). During the assembly of each successive batch, minor changes maybe incorporated (like maybe extra sponge/padding on dashboard to reduce rattling, updated ECU for better engine performance, better assembly equipment tuning so parts can fit better, known faulty parts get swapped, solve some TSB items, etc. The parts supplier will also be learning along the process to optimise quality and production process. So, technically, each successive batch will be better than the previous one. In other words, the first few batch of owners will be the guinea pig and Honda will be listening to their feedback and pass it on to the manufacturing/assembly end, hence successive batches will get lesser and lesser problems. This applies to all car brands This post has been edited by wkc5657: May 11 2016, 09:54 AM

I see the Honda City launched around 2014 but until now no facelift after almost 2 yrs. HRV also no facelift after 18months.
