Pls check ur email.

Actually the correct thing to do is after received ur keys, dont move in first unless you have no where to stay. Hire the 3rd party inspector. They will do a thorough checking and come out with the detail report. Submit the report to the developer and wait for the repair.

Received it with thanks. After i saw your report, i have asked few companies to quote. We have decided to hire a professional to do than do it on our own.

I’m seeing a subsale unit from a developer and I quite like the unit but the house is riddled with minor defects here n there: all rooms have wall paint crack like a line, poor paint job, window rubber coming off and not aligned, door knob doesn’t seem to align straight, gate grill is rusty, toilet bowl is super black.
I told the developer and they said it comes with 6 months DLP. And they will only work on the defects once I sign SPA and receive the key and bring the contractor along to mark the defects using stickers. They told me they will clean the unit beforehand.
Is this the right procedure? Because I’m scared of inaction from developer after signing and everything.

I have a noob question. biggrin.gif After the water & electric installed, i went to check the house.
There's water at the kitchen tap but none at all the bathrooms.
So we suspected the water tank is empty.
But we didn't stay long enough to fill up the tank and we turn off the main pipe before we leave.

Since we already hire a company to do the inspection, do we have to fill up the water tank or let the QC inspector do it?
