When I go to pos usually I notice more people withdrawal than deposits especially from the vroom race. Their salary credited to ASB account meh?

My purpose to the pos office is usually to send out stuff but this ASB transaction severely lengthened the waiting time.

Rejected more than 50x
Sakit hati too with bank charges & gst " gone with the wind "  
today, disppointed again,  with 12x subcription fr Optopus bank all status REJECTED.

Went to Maybank just now to try to open ASW. The guy ask me to go ASNB branch as ASNB staff can see real time units while agent banks can't. He says if he open account for me and there are no units available, the account will self destruct within 24 hours and there is a waiting period of a few months before I can try to open account again. And he say since I don't have account yet, he can't check the units available for me. So I'm wondering how do people open account at agent banks?

I know he was reluctant to try to open for me by looking at his body language. Initially I wanted to play the psychology game with him but I was in a rush so didn't bother. Just left after he told me the bull story.

So actually what's the procedure for new account opening? They create a new account first and after that then they try to search for available units using the new account? Or they just main hentam trial and error without keying in the account details and if they see there's available units, then they'll proceed with account opening?

Did you have to take 5 different queue numbers in order to complete the transactions or just need take number one time and ask the teller to do multiple transactions for you? Just curious, how long did you have to spend at the bank?

Not sure if this has been asked before..can we deposit $ for someone else without the passbook? I want to top up for my mother but she is in different State and it's not convenient for her to go bank always.

So there's no so called waiting period if they close the account if there's no available units?

So what is the best method at asnb branch? If fail to get, just retake a number and retry?

Im new to ASNB investment and would like to open an account. Tried with kajang branch CIMB and RHB for continuous 1 week. But the answer I get from RHB is always "line ada problem, tak boleh buka account lagi." and from CIMB will be either "ASNB counter sudah tutup, try esok pagi." and go on next morning and subsequent morning, "quota habis." but they didn't even check yet ady say quota habis. Must be my face problem, they all hate me so much. Thinking of taking 1 day off n go other places listed to try. Sighh....

You can deposit to another person's account over the counter or online. I've done that both at Maybank, and CIMB, online and OTC.  You'd only need the account number, ic number and full name. No need surat wakil whatsoever.

well ASNB did gave bonus previously. I think for 10th anniversary.

so 20th anniversary bonus is possible

oh, mean ask the bank teller to perform multiple transaction of 4 digit.
how about if ask to start with 5 digit, if not available then keep reducing to 4 digit until success? which one more workable?

i was told e problem with amanah saham is in case of death, its hard for the monies to reach the beneficiary. is that true? harder compared to ut or stocks or epf.

they used oracle system. if the teller say it is insufficient fund, is that true or they might con us without trying (they always ask us to sit and wait to be called).

Guys, if you got 1 akaun remaja with both guardian and child name, later after reach 18, it say automatically convert to akaun dewasa. But if the passbook is still the old one and already reached 18, then which name & IC should be used if want to register online? Is it follow guardian or child? Or the book need to change & register to child name?
