I'm an iPhone user previously, note 5 is my first android phone since 6 years loyal to Apple.

I've never use my note 5 home button, not even once! And i don't even use any assistive touch app, all i'm using is just the back and apps soft touch keys.

I notice something on my Note 5. I wanted to take advantage of the AMOLED screen so i use a black wallpaper. Same wallpaper for homescreen and lock screen. The problem is that while its fine for homescreen, the lock screen has a grey tint over it. So the pixel is not actually black n still lit up. I went and good and some people with S6 suggested to tweek the wallpaper la, the homescreen security la, the effect la, the theme, etc... nothing works.

Any idea how get totally black wallpaper on lock screen?

Could it be the source of the black wallpaper you got is giving the wrong color?

Haha i always do like this, use the left soft touch keys to bring out all apps, close all apps, then im at the home screen, hahaha always like that!

It will not matter anyway, try to think how many minutes per day do u spend your time looking at the lock screen? Im guessing maybe less than 3 minutes per day.

Like i said, im coming from iPhone previously, i always use assistive touch on iPhones, main reason is to avoid using home button, no bad history with home button just that i like to keep my home button "virgin" all the time. Until the day im selling my phone, then i will taste my home button virginity. Damn it, sound so wrong. hahahha! but i think u get what i mean right? hahaha. Just that i already got used to not using home button. I already got used to close all apps to get to home screen.

did u faced issues when playing video/music through earphones/BT earphones, sometimes the vid/music just paused on its own?
initially i was suspecting my earphone's button, but my bt earphone behaves the same too. so im thinking something wrong with the phone.

This is actually the exact wallpaper I am using too. Same name as well. The effect of the tint is very minimal n u can only see when in a dark room. U will see a grey overlay which cause the pixel to light up.

It could be caused by certain music file. Was it always stop at the same song or was it stop randomly? Also, what music you are using? I have used quite a number of music apps since I joined android family and I found out some music apps do have this kind of sudden pause problem.

They claimed that Samsung apply this so called "dark filter" over the lock screen custom wallpaper. May be this is the reason why you noticed the color is a bit off on your lock screen.

It seems not a problem to charge my phone and connect to PC. The problem is only by inserting the SanDisk microusb

Yes I'm using assistant menu because for me it's easier to lock my phone and adjusting volume without touching the physical button

Video also the same? The first thing i could think of is the head phone jack problem. But since you said your Bt earphone is also having the same symptom, then only one possibility left which is the issue is coming from the phone system itself. Not sure if the phone system corrupted or you have changed something in the phone setting which some how affected the playback. It's hard to pin point the real cause.

If nothing helps, perhaps you should reset the phone and see if this solve the problem.
