I'm blessed to be unaffected by the floods currently, so counting my blessings and being happy.

Already with the flood situation, I'm seeing people being guided into buying clothes companies like Padini and furniture makers with the reasoning flood victims will cause a swell in demand.
New day new stories.

When the market is flooded with liquidity or speculators, any reason is reason to speculate.

Supply chain logistics broken.
Not surprised to see. And if you have parcels leftover from the 12.12 shopping, good luck with those.

I feel that it is the lack of any meaningful alternatives for those invested in equities locally.
When you don't have any holes available to fit your pegs, people tend to force square pegs in round holes because it is the only thing they think they can do.

I find that people confuse the fine line between investing and being a fan.
Like if you invest in something, you must be a fan and support it like you support your football club. They are willing to lose money with such confidence and conviction.

I usually do my closing in the month of Nov. For KLSE, overall my portfolio took a -10% hit for the year.
Had one really silly (Meaning avoidable) decision I made during the year which really derailed stuff. Story for another day.

How did yours do?
