How does it impact BAT, that it plans to move out its operation from Malaysia to the neighboring countries? Good/bad?

BAT price drop only..and BAT want cut cost they move operation to Indon to enjoy cheaper cost..so overall good for BAT but price temporary bad and bad for our index
*
BAT should have done much much earlier. Given the high operation costs, the ineffective enforcement in curtailing counterfeits, and the high sin tax.... it all just does not bode well for BAT.

IIRC, most of the tobacco used for production is imported, as locally grown tobacco do not have enuff.

LOL the share price can not go any lower than 0.005, can they?
Going by that logic, buying warrants at that price, there can only go up smile.gif

Provided the maturity is months/years ahead, and that the mother share is not delisted.

I q SKH WA for 2 months already at 0.5sen still cannot buy lol.

LOL, look for cheaper counters!
0.5sen =/= 0.005sen

QUOTE(cherroy @ May 3 2016, 02:56 PM)
But you can lose 100% of the 0.005...  whistling.gif

A lot of time, if a share or warrant being traded at 0.005, the likelyhood outcome generally or mostly ended with "close shop" one.  whistling.gif
*
But it is the same to all other counters confused.gif
I think the main indicator would be the maturity date, if it nearing maturity, then yeah, that'd be the likely outcome.
But if maturity is much later, there's still time... Not to concern about mother share, as in most cases, the exercise price would be more expensive than buying the mother share.

What would be the impact to Warrants when the mother share declares dividend?

some wise men told me that dividends are poison to warrants. as the price ex-div will be lower, so warrants would be trend lower too.

Butt i guess since the market is headless, 'haps you are right to say none change biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ILoveLalat.net @ May 9 2016, 09:04 AM)
W-type warrants - Issued by the company. Can be exercised for mother share at any time although majority of the company warrants are traded above premium.

C-type warrants - Issued by investment bankers. Can only be exercised after the maturity/expiry of warrant.

Hope that helps!
*
tks! Noted on the difference. But i thought the exercising of the conversion to mother share has to do with whether it is American/European style? I mean, regardless of the type?
