Hi Boon Gor, what about looking at Esceram?. Since so many new glove players coming up, hand formers are definitely needed and they also have a life span to it. What I find attractive about Esceram in a nut shell:

* the only KLSE listed hand formers
* expanding aggressively this year in Msia with more plants
* factories in Thailand, located very near to all the major glove manufacturers
* started giving some meaty dividends now and hopefully more in the future
* RHB small cap top 20 Jewels 2021 has Esceram with TP of 1.40 - 1.65

Logically, if compared to the glove makers, it has an advantage cos it is not affected by the glove makers selling price and it 'should hold up' better if a price war escalates amongst the glove makers. But in an intense price war, glove makers will find every way possible to keep their pricing low.. ie squeeze the parts suppliers such as escream for a much lower pricing...

And then the other issue is market sentiments. This could be an issue since our market is not very mature. An intensively negative sentiments in the glove sector could very likely drag stocks such Escream and ignoring the fundamentals.

Check out the warrant. Last I remembered, it carries a discount..

Okay?

Yup, tks for the feedback. The wb discount is nearly 11%, so logically buy warrant is better right? Have options to convert or wait till its expiry in 29 months.

Ok, noted. Since got nothing better to buy now and I think buying the glove proxies may be a better idea, I'll look into the warrant then.

no interest in tech? biggrin.gif

i waited long enuf... today, had chance to buy INARI at 3.16.

private placement price 3.20... so, nice feeling, a discount! laugh.gif

i now hold more tech than gloves. tongue.gif

still... gloves... closing today:

kossan is 1 sen above its ex-div price, unafazed by the spmx "price has peaked" saga.

TG, harta quite close to that too.

the only real LOSER is supermax itself.

kesm... no idea!

the diff when buying both glove + tech is...

one is giving 30-40 sen per share earnings while the other is only 3-5 sen.

one gets bashed everyday while the other gets glorified market pricing.

strange world or twisted markets?! laugh.gif

that's why it fell <3.20 today.

this kind of thing happens all the time... should recover over time.

All the best... but I have to say I could not really get a grasp of what the stock will do... it looks like drifting into a range trading but then it a breakout is actually possible but yet, a breakdown cannot be ruled out. doh.gif laugh.gif Yup... in short I got no idea.... laugh.gif

However, one thing I do know... if there is nothing better to buy... I always prefer the wait option and ya.. let the money just rot in the banks laugh.gif laugh.gif

others are not listed in KLSE, doesn;t mean they are smaller than escream

Careplus' prospect - ASP has peak and begin to soften gradually but remain generally good. Their QR still give some positive sentiment tho.

Hopefully Mr market will accept the fact that ASP has already peak and will begin to decrease due to increase in competitors. Demand is still there. Still which company can earn this much and being cash rich. Hopefully it's a 3rd wave up after 2nd correction.

Not to mention increase pressure from all parties on seriousness of covid case lately.

On a side note, harta did SBB as well prior to release of QR. Guess ppl will expect TG's qr to be like spmx and harta. Not much growth anymore

that is correct, no one is silly enuf to expect ASP to keep rising; or if it doesn't, it is a bad stock, doomed!! biggrin.gif

QUOTE
The prospects remain generally good. The Average Selling Price (ASP) should have reached its
peak in current quarter and began to soften gradually. Production and sales quantity will continue
to rise with the additional production lines provided there is no major disruption by Covid-19 or
labour availability

the question now is whether ASP will fall off a cliff like many say.

the answer lies in the tussle between a structural change in global demand vs change in global supply.

if one thinks supply will quickly outstrip demand in the coming months, with PER going from single to triple digit, then the industry will consolidate.

if one thinks additional supply will come gradually, picked up by incr demand, prices will ease gradually over next 2-5 years.

then, we will see who will emerge victorious and who will wither.

victorious in terms of continuous excellent profits; wither in terms of selling at very low prices for survival, then close shop.

that is normal in biz, nothing special, happens in all industries, everytime.

3rd party consultants have given their assessment, i will not speculate too much.
