hi fellow investors, traders, scalpers...
i am very curious why a lot of you keep saying the end of loan moratoriums will cause ppl to take their money out from bursa? Even when hse, car or ptptn loans resume, you are not gonna pay what you owe from the past 6 months in one shot. You are paying in monthly installments, hence i cannot understand how or why it should drag the market down? |

Well, from the replies above, we are making assumptions that a lot of ppl are either :
- retrenched or having pay cuts - not playing/investing with spare cash - short term players - pessimistic about the market Then how about if we have these sets of players ; - not retrench but may have some pay cuts - have access liquidity (known of a number of banks offering loans with 2.99-3.15% interest rates) - have access funds which is better park in bursa rather than the lowly FD rates - optimistic about the market. Since the start of Mac/April more new players joined in and i do not foresee most of them leaving the market soon. Its like once the bursa bugs bite you, you are stuck here? Appreciate all feedbacks negative or positives. Tks |

Banks all over having a bad time especially when they have to make higher provision for bad loans.. No dividend or less dividends making them super unattractive currently. Going into fall/autumn and already big spikes coming from Europe. Can't imagine what the figure is going to be like once winter sets in. Please do not trust US covid figures since its being released by the White house. Trump needs to make the figures beautiful in order to get his elections done in person rather than through postal votes. A better indication is to see US death figures to get a clearer picture of the true situation there. The best option is to check European countries. There has been a gradual increase since last week and now they are facing problems with hospital beds and ICU beds running out soon. |

A critical point ppl tend to overlook is the importance of FDA approvals/certifications. FDA certification for gloves is not easy to get. It takes one to two years for the whole process of applications, testing and certification before you can even market your products in US. So not only the time factor but costs factor as well. Hence not all new players can afford these tedious process.
The irony about FDA approval is even countries such as Africa and South America require FDA certs for gloves. This is because they do not have the facilities, expertise and money to get those gloves tested, hence any gloves that has FDA certification is good enough for them. As such, new glove players faced a lot of challenges in marketing their products not only to 1st world countries but even to sell to 3rd world countries also difficult. The only point they probably could penetrate is on price issues (eg China gloves) but when it comes to life and death matters, my guess is health authorities may not want to take such a risk. |

Come let me give my crystal ball reading for harta and supermax prior their QR release. Prediction for Harta - results will be disappointing hence price will drop after the announcement. Analysts will said markets already priced in the value, hence the drop. As a result, ppl will also start throwing Smax (cos same expectation or maybe due to market spook) But then Smax did the opposite by producing sterling QR, and ppl will start chasing again.....
well all for fun yeah cos sometimes my crystal ball also "rosak" |

QUOTE(wayton @ Oct 30 2020, 03:32 PM) Market bearish and retailers lose money, then the interest to trade become less, less trade, less volume, less profit for bursa. Retailers only make up one portion of the market players. Further more you are making assumptions that retailers lose money, what about those who are making money? Plus with local IBs & Ffunds buying and selling, the house will always win.It is a vicious cycle, nothing escape if market plunges, and nobody benefit from it. |

Budget is on tomorrow, thinking construction stocks the main beneficiary since its supposed to be expansionary budget.

Crystal ball also saying that once budget is out of the way, glove stocks will take off. US and Europe covid is out of control. See another huge spike coming up in US within 2 weeks. Idiots are out with arms on the street protesting about the results. silverwave liked this post
