Hi, this is my 1st time buying warrant, previously I just play main stock... I bought DNeX warrant at 0.09 last month, and now Im not sure what to do... If I want to convert to mother share price what should I do ? Should I wait for expiry date which is at the end of July only can convert ? The exercise price of 0.5 meaning I hv to pay / add another 0.5 for every share that I hold ? Im using Maybank2u platform, is there anything I need to do to convert the warrant to mother ?

Thankks

I think glove stocks make up about 60% of my overall portfolio. Time to trim.

BTW, I mentioned Complet in my post yesterday. Today, it has rocketed +16%. Missed the boat. Oh well, life goes on.  smile.gif

Uncle didn't buy Complet after mentioning it ah?

For gloves, I'm also trimming it and gradually feeling better to endure the losses in the course of doing so...long way to go before my portfolio can be less influenced by gloves, but oh well, gotta work through it.

Thanks for sharing.

sell only if not holding large amount ...... but the warrant expire on July still long to determine the share price

the hassle to convert is too much .... you need to contact the Company Secretary of the company then buy cheque to pay the difference ....bla bla

Unless the warrant has huge discount compared to mothershare, else, just sell it to market.

Most of the time, most warrant are trading at premium so more wise to sell it to the market instead of converting.

You need to pay the conversion money, and wait the process of converting by Co Sec if want to convert. Not that convenience or instant fast.

No problem. I am happy to share.

I wish I could tell you a fairy tale that I bought Complet yesterday and made RM5K in profit today since it went up +16%. But I don’t believe in telling lies. 😃

looking at the DNeX mother price vs son price, the discounted price quite drooling...

The main problem by the time when you receive the mothershare by converting it, it may be days or week or weeks away. So mothershare price may no longer the same.
This is the risk.

Hi sifus sekalian, I’ve been wondering, how does TG’s eventual listing in HK’s market affect its value? Why are investors shunning from the stock because of this decision?

Does a dual listing dilute value (like PP)? Or it has 0 effect on what’s trading in Bursa? 1st time encountering this so it’d be great if someone can share some good insights. TIA!

Me not sifu, but here is my understanding.

HK Listing is primary dual-listing. From Google, primary listing is listing of new shares. So, new TG shares will be available to HK, adding to current number of shares, thus dilution effect.

OTOH, SGX listing is secondary dual-listing. Secondary listing inSGX means selling existing shares to be listed in SG. No dilution happens.

I made a huge blunder in not finding out more about the Hong Kong listing. If only I knew about the difference of primary & dual listing then...... Mr Market ady knew what's gonna happen then, hence the market reaction.

P.S. I really wonder why the need for primary listing? HK listing must only be primary listing? I don't know. If TG changes it to secondary listing, perhaps share price will rebound. But unlikely, as TG has ady submitted application.

If the offering in HK is not well received, it will signal further downtrend as sign of subdue demand from global investors would weaken local investors confidence.

But it could happen the opposite, which is high demand from global investors during the offering exercise will provide the much needed confidence for our local investors.

It's really a gamble, and also depend on market appetite for gloves share. Especially global institutional investors

china investors have better access to news and update on china gloves plc, unlikely to pay premium for topg like bursa retailers.

And the market is closed. This forum is getting quiet.

I entered Complet before closing at RM1.238.

Maybulk closed in the market at +4.63%.

Glove stocks are still bleeding non-stop. Tsk, tsk.
