QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 21 2019, 02:49 PM) Those are put warrant and call warrant. i see.... thanks-Hxx - Put warrant - Cxx -call warrant It is high risk or high leveraged "bet", if don't know how it works, then better don't touch. Highly leveraged or highly geared, the more volatility of the price. You need to know their conversion and exercise price and maturity date to deliver their valuation. |

QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Nov 21 2019, 05:11 PM) HSI is the HK index, which is volatile. What would happen if hold until it's expiry date??HSI-xx are warrants on the index, which amplifies the % movement a few times. HSI-C7K for example is a call warrant over HSI with a 12x leverage as at today. So if hsi go up 1% expect it to go up about 12%. But today HSI dropped 1.5%, so can see the warrant dropped nearly 18%. Note that leverage of a warrant can change daily n this is something to watch out. Really not for the faint hearted.. N usually should only be used for day trading. |

Hi, this is my 1st time buying warrant, previously I just play main stock... I bought DNeX warrant at 0.09 last month, and now Im not sure what to do... If I want to convert to mother share price what should I do ? Should I wait for expiry date which is at the end of July only can convert ? The exercise price of 0.5 meaning I hv to pay / add another 0.5 for every share that I hold ? Im using Maybank2u platform, is there anything I need to do to convert the warrant to mother ?
Thankks |

QUOTE(wayton @ Mar 12 2021, 01:34 PM) Unless the warrant has huge discount compared to mothershare, else, just sell it to market. looking at the DNeX mother price vs son price, the discounted price quite drooling...Most of the time, most warrant are trading at premium so more wise to sell it to the market instead of converting. You need to pay the conversion money, and wait the process of converting by Co Sec if want to convert. Not that convenience or instant fast. |
