Bosses of KGB acquired shares today. Why I feel like this counter like Gloves? To average down or cut loss guys? Bought at 1.9 yesterday. 😂
*
That could mean it’s finally approaching its fair value? Just losing a tender on SMIC created too much overreaction.

May I ask... given a chance, which one would you pick for long-term, TG or Smax?

Good news, was targeting to buy digi rm3.5 or below. With this news up a bit, so I will wait and see. Even if talks restarted, trying to find an agreeable evaluation not easy. Last round failed. It seems to be celcom needs digi more than digi needs celcom, finding the money to entice Telenor is another proposition altogether. Hope digi drops more, but now looks unlikely unless whole market downtrend. Digi will be better with Telenor support (tech transfer). Celcom based on its track record including the Nepal acquisition, let's just say I prefer digi with Telenor.

Ohh, but I think it's fine cuz it didn't go up that much earlier today. Think it's still around this price.
On the side note, it seems like a stable stock with good dividends. Does anyone here buy Digi for long term?

I am still queueing for RM3.4 as I planned to park portion of my Fund for dividend. Maxis also seems good price to enter? But Maxis seems being shorted more than Digi. Anything wrong with Maxis?

With digi offering 4.XX percent. There are definitely many other good shares to choose from. As cost of operation keep increasing and the implementation of 5G, the cost will eventually need to pass down to customer. But the price war is just... Huge

For tech people what do you think of this corrective phase. Weather through the storm or sell to protect capital.

Im gonna hold it to see if there is chance for reversal or not.

It has been pretty rough this 3 days, there will be more painful day ahead for tech due to their valuations run up. We could see tomorrow green and then another 3 days red again those sort like glove counters experience.

If market continue to sell off then i probably have to cut loss as my current tech holding is not bought on the premise of value but more on the stimulus trend that it will continue to go up.

Good morning folks.

Cut loss for my remaining KGB and VSTEC stocks. Don’t look back. Don’t regret your decision even if the stocks rebound tomorrow or next week.

Protect your capital/troops and live to fight another day!

Once we enter the territory of 40% to 50% unrealized losses, it can cause heavy damage to the overall portfolio.

Be careful of confirmation bias when we are holding on to a losing position and trying to find justifications not to sell it. Does the TA and FA support our view?

I’m on sell side. Although my profit should’ve cushion the drop but the constant heartache can’t tahan.

Decided to let go early and enter again during the next rebound

I still think it will rebound in these few days due to oversold and excessive fear.

But i will take the rebound and run, no point being stubborn as clearly sentiment have shifted

5G is not positive catalyst for Telco.
5G only good for equipment makers, driving handphone selling.

Consumer is not expecting to pay more monthly subscription fee by having 5G.
While Telco need to invest lot of money for 5G.
I came across article said 5G signal has weaker penetration that need more telco tower or signal compared to 4G.

But Digi has stable business and a good dividend income stock.

I bought the other day at 3.5, but not a lot since I plan to keep for long term and didn't do much research on them, so started small.
