This news is not new... Happened couple weeks ago. In fact, there's some comments from some that they bought gloves online and the gloves came in a plain white box.

well. Bursa generally are manipulated. That's why it's still in infant stage. Just look at overseas glove companies to do a comparison will do.

I still have hope for the 10am opening.

You know, the foreign workers issue, for Top Glove, this is not something new. Many years, I believe after Sars, the company was fined over 10 million ringgit for immigration offenses. And recently the virus hit its workers. And all the boss cares is buying shares of Top Glove.

That purchase transaction yesterday... very interesting. If material changing news, would the boss purchase of shares be deemed as insider trading?

Secondly ... again no buyback as suspected. TG does have that 2.6 billion invested in dunno what money market fund. Apparently, for whatever reason, it doesn't appear the boss wants to liquidate that position and buyback the company shares.....

More likely to avoid margin forced selling.

We saw that at 4.30pm where there was a support queue of 60k lots formed at RM 6.
TG now seeing selling pressure after rebound.

Maybe retailers should unite and sell, to make big players suffer once in a while jk jk

Depending on who were defending 6.0 line and how much cash they have for defending.

since 6.0 line is revealed, savvy traders could range trade >6.0 line.

Err, my guess right now might be the CBP news.
There doesn't seem to be any other leads apart from that.

Or maybe someone been buying so much shares they wanna take it private.


Glove shares going downward now.
TG retreated from the 6.23 at opening to 6.10.
SPMX also dropped to 6.14 now after the early rally.

Smells like something is coming.

never go study properly,
our rubber tapers don't produce NR latex,
they mostly produce NR cup lumps, SMR, smoke sheets.

Some announcement e.g special dividend to avoid price to fall below 6.0. from announcement can guess who were defending 6.0 line.

Anyway for big index fund like TG, bursa will do their best to ensure no panic and orderly trading.

So those hu ha about IB etc are fairy tale at best. Most institutional such as insurance fund, mutual fund, epf will still have them in our portfolio, so IB basically is on the same side with the retailer not against the retailer.

They try to reset the narrative for tg, but i dont think it will work. We shall see
