Would you get into GENM now? For mid-long term. Considering that outdoor theme park slated to open next year.
*
I bought Genm for Theme Park opening. In 2019. rolleyes.gif

Luckily got cheap Genting this year. sweat.gif

Anyhow, if you can put money there for 3 years, Genm is probably okay, if you buy low. Got dividends & Genm being KLCI stock shud have some premium valuation. Funds will probably chase Genm. (or they probably have done alrdy)

To me, Genm risk = price shot up from RM2.00-RM2.40 to current levels, + uncertain if Genm would bail out its subsidiaries, burning more cash in process.

The main issue is always ASP.

Nobody knows how future ASP will be post pandemic, or when covid become under control or manageable time.

An industry with profit margin of 50% which doesn't have entry barrier is like sugar that certainly attracts lot of ants, many new comers are eager to join the industry as well as massive expansion plan from existing players that may eventually normalise the ASP.
Business is always like that. Last time oil price high, all flock into O&G until now oversupply.

Mask is the example we are looking at.
Difference : Mask takes months to install production line. Gloves takes year.

But I don't expect those glove share price drops to pre-covid level.
Their share price likely to stablise at some point as they still have strong fundamental, they are not like those pure goreng penny stocks.

I guess need to look for TA in term of finding entry point, when the falling knife pattern stops.
*
Glove production lines don't takes years to install. It takes a long time to erect a factory, not glove production line. If you already erected a factory, then it would only take a month to install and commission a single line.

I don't think it'll break in 15 minutes.
That Great Wall of TG should hold.

If it is going to dorp further, most likely through a gap down.

Lets watch the show with a cup of nice coffee.
Am wondering JP Morgan's prophecy would come true or not. RM3.50.

Concerted effort to push up the closing price now for TG.

If closed below 6.0 could trigger a batch of margin forced selling.

Ok, TG closed at 6.02 after last minute recovery push.
But bigger loser is SPMX which pared 5%.

Chart of the day....

Despite today's fall .... it's still within the descending triangle. Yup, it hasn't break down.... yet.

but if it does ..... the bigger chart shows ... the precarious situation ....

kinda disappointed to see selling momentum fade off in the afternoon.

was hoping both spmx and TG would drop below RM6.

are your engine ready to start as price start to drop below its fair value?

hopefully tomorrow the selling momentum continue.

couple with Alibaba, this year Christmas present is fantastic!

and for those who are holding glove stocks, remember your feeling now.

it can make you a more mature investor.

good luck! thumbsup.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

The nightmare for TG holders is that they may not be given the opportunity to defend the psychological barrier of RM 6 in the event a gap down happens. If TG gaps below the RM 6 mark, that could trigger another round of selloffs.
