QUOTE(Boon3 @ Sep 20 2021, 09:09 PM) And you rather accept those sin Kah theories about the call warrants but what the report itself? and yes, those sin kah lan are hiding in the caves nowWas it inaccurate? Isn't that what's important? And if you are not lazy, you could search the forum and check out the trading data of those warrant that was in money. Check the trading data... Posted before too. And it's so telling.... and still you want to hunt them down and post 'wanted' sticker everywhere time after time. you know some of them did honest mistake too right? why not let them be, your bashing towards them wont work one lah... sooner or later will be another 'new' sin kah lan riding old cow in the same cowboy area, and yet poeple still will buy their theories |

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Sep 20 2021, 09:35 PM) first, i am not anti vaxx. i do support covid vaccine if it proves to save life (and it does, statistically so far till current date) but the issue with if booster shot required so often, i would start to suspect something is not right outsidesecond, i do hold gloves stock, but i am neutral against it. my gloves stock in my portfolio investment is 50% from what i invested way before 2020. and yes, i manage to sold it with a fat profit thanks to some advice given by boon, andre, you and so other more sincere members. i do believe in some solid counters like H and K which able to bring profit and dividend during these tough times third, there is no certainty that, Covid will be completely eliminated due to many factors.. anti vaxx, mutation, new varient, or even new type of virus stronger than Covid |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 20 2021, 09:14 PM) Sigh... what manufacturing process do RAM use? I study electronics, that's what i read about it and it is still printed on textbook on today syllabus. theoretically, on atomic level there is a limit on how small can the gap of the nodes can be but we are still not able to prove it yet.Moore's Law is dead la... Minimal increment every year as opposed to back then. Even this year, A15 from Apple merely 10% faster than A14 until Apple diam diam dont mention like they usually did when announcing a new chip. Now just mention 50% faster than competition (which again is not true for all benchmarks). you know intel have history of keeping/holding their latest tech for their futures sales right? Apple chipset is currently so way ahead of it's competition why not give apple a benefit of doubt first? i might be wrong, i can be wrong but... time will prove it |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Sep 20 2021, 09:20 PM) Topglove call warrant.. C69. That was one of those call warrant from Macquarie that was in the money. Dig out that chart.... see the trading data itself. ![]() KLSE Screener do not have the data so i have to use your hated website yes, Macquarie was caught off guard. volume were there before 15th March. whether they hedge enough by buying topglove shares that is another matter. and the trading volume shrink once topglove price flew above uncharted waters oh, so they issue more and more call warrants, with higher and ridiculous premium and yet people still buying in thinking they can outsmart MacQ This post has been edited by squarepilot: Sep 20 2021, 10:08 PM |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 20 2021, 10:11 PM) I dont think we are paying less for computer nowadays. Even the speed has reached a stagnation, 5GHz seems to be the barrier for desktop x86 CPU while ARM chip seem to top out around 3GHz. Honestly the only segment that is still outperforming would be the GPU. remember intel nearly done with the CPU race and Intel Core 2 duo series appeared? it beat the hell out of AMD and reclaim the king of CPU. One have many ways to speed up the CPU without increasing the clocking speed.the price remain? it has got to do with the fall of MYR and global inflation due to the 2008 crash after effect aka Fed tapering, and the latest production scarcity issue + trade war. and yet our salary is stagnant QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Sep 20 2021, 10:15 PM) it is a reality and IBM is selling it. wanna bet on IBM? it is still on a very early stage of development so we are not able to fully ultilise the power of quantum computing |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 20 2021, 10:38 PM) Yeap, too dominant until they fall asleep again and being caught by AMD yet again... let's see if AMD will suffer another Athlon successor problem... I think this time is different due to the emergence of contractor foundries and fabless players in the market This causes local players like frontken and overseas ASML to triumph But as long competition is there, it's good for consumer like us |

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Sep 21 2021, 06:59 PM) As a communist governed party, it will slowly move from a capitalist business model to a socialism model. I foresee corporate tax will goes up for the benefit of the citizen as they prepare transition into aging country |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Sep 24 2021, 11:36 AM) of cause there is potential in tech companiesEV or vehicle with more complicated safety or autonomous function do requires electronics Cloud computing and growing servers due to e-commerce Usage of smart phone and wearables in emerging countries Smart cities with sensor and telecommunication capabilities These are the fundamental basis have encourage the growth in tech But i couldn't calculate the madness of speculating whether how high it it reach, or how low will it goes |

QUOTE(wayton @ Sep 24 2021, 01:44 PM) Even so, does it warrant for some tech share price rise 500% or even more in just a few months time? of cause, there is a video by bloomberg showing the ghost factory of EV vehicles in china last few daysSome don't even deliver much profit also despite current booming EV. Tech is essential part of new modern life, similar how dotcom booming during 2000 which now integrated into our life. But not every dotcom blossom, the rest is history that everyone knows. EV may be the same, some succeed, some may not. I am bullish on tech, but not every tech. While current market sentiment, any touching tech like touching gold. competition is fierce too |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 25 2021, 06:24 PM) There will be semiconductor everywhere. However I don't think EV will caused a surge in semiconductor demand. There will be someday when the driving will be automated but it's not going to be today, tomorrow or next year. Yes. Power storage is a massive problem to overcome now.Personally I think power storage will have to evolved first before we will see a boom in EV. Right now EV is merely a disruption. So the next gen vehicle system will be based on fuel cell So fuel cell requires more protection because it is more combustible and can explode if not handle with care. And due to this, more fail safe system will be required in vehicles and so does more electronics Then comes to autonomous driving and smart home technology which requires plenty of computing power. We will require much more transistor and electronics than ever... Still boils down to supply and demand issue, if the demand is there, we will see more upaide of stocks price. But once the supplies floods in, there is where the correction or crash will come. |

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Sep 25 2021, 08:36 PM) I still believe im right, so keep hanging on and buying more. Deepening the losses 😲 If you buy at the top and you already lost 60 percent. Might as well just keep it 😂 the odds of losing another 10 to 20 percent is there but higher possibility that the counter will bottom out aftermathWell not much to do except sit tight and let time be the judge. That's if you buy into ETF. Takkan whole basket of share goes bust altogether right? Me personally think the possibilities are quite rare. Stock market do tend to raise higher and higher over a long period of time, unless we are going into another series of 1929 market depression. |

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Sep 26 2021, 05:38 PM) Not as straight forward. from my understanding, their aim to to follow the ambition of adam smith but at the same time to avoid too large difference of prosperity inequality. but ironically, they are communist How much malasia benefited from last trade war between DT usa and China? how much trade surplus with China will be impacted? Until we understand what China is trying to achieve, we won't know the extent of collateral damage or benefits. the impact of trade war cannot be seen clearly due to the disruption caused by covid19 correction is long due, simply can't wait for it |
