When second crash come months later, they will think they are experienced already. They no longer panic sell, and they buy with confidence when price crash.

The difference now is, the price never rebound, and, can't see any bottoming sign in near future.

With the aggressive intervention of government during Covid, i remain my skepticism on this

but yeah i somehow do agree valuation for tech stocks is highest now since dot com bubble

well, it serves a good reminder to always re-measure our distance to ground when things move further and further away from it. The stock market can remain irrational longer than we can remain solvent

if one decide to play along with the sharks, he or she should have already think of the worst case scenario - being eaten alive

or cause the rewards will be getting the fishes, but can you manage to grab the fishes and run before the sharks hunt you down?

never cross my mind about that, i start buying glove counter, i am curious to know how much i can lose buying counter with pe less than 3, in fact i never bought any stock with pe multiple less than 5 in my entire investing life.
*
read and learn to differentiate supernormal earnings and organic growth

rm3.50 with the PE of 3 in 2021

can become

rm3.20 with the PE of 10 in 2022

and subsequently can become

rm3 with the PE of 20 in 2023

simply because the earning will decrease with the normalization of ASP

So many syiok sendiri people in this forum. Beginners should stay away from this forum. It is all about hating on glove companies. These bears act like they are genius for casting negative views on the companies. But in reality, they did not even make money from betting against Top Glove. Keep circlejerking about hating TopGlove and trying to catch the 'next' run but failing horribly. Haha Also most of them except @Chaosz and a few well-research folks ,missed out on Bursa technology bull run and now they are trying to buy plastic manufacturing/packaging companies to make up the gains. Pretty good strategy huh? While packaging companies are good value plays and everyone should have companies like Scientex/BP Plastic in their portfolio, they don't realise that their bullish thesis for packaging companies directly contradicts their bear case against Top Glove and Supermax? Same story with peak margins and cyclical nature of the business.

Be careful of these accounts:

@B***3 @iceman** @s****kinet** They pretty much speak the same lingo, think the same and act the same. Creepy stuffs.

This forum is an echo chamber. If you don't think like them, you will get forced out. It is like a hive mind but a hostile one.
*
the strategy is to get in quick and get out quicker than others whistling.gif

that's what traders do

don't lose money is most important, being the good guy or bad guy is optional here laugh.gif devil.gif

1 firm has no power to manipulate the whole market

retailers themselves to the ones to blame
*
Do you know the power of syndicates?

Of cause retailers are the one to blame. But to the extend of suicide cases, doesn't the big boys play a part too?

Like now. If epf and owners are buying, who's selling?

as retailers, we always have the choices to go more efficient markets,

but no , most choose to be continue be ignorant and lose money to this syndicate

so blame themselves

so, what is your point here?

People are condemning others for giving destructive comment and opinion here, you wanna add fuel to it? devil.gif

Interesting subject mah. But you have a point, it's an emotionally charged one so perhaps I should distance from it for the time being.
I think the current price sink is not a systemic correction but based on the comments made by the Harta boss. Two cents says this is temporary while people get over the fear, but two cents is all I'm wagering!

Kasi chan la boss.
My China portfolio kena hentam teruk after the government crackdowns. A little short of bullish subjects for the time being.

Too much negativity.

On the side note. I think plastic industry has reached their full valuation. That's where the volatility and goreng start.

Usually I will sell a certain portion once it reached my personal TP. And let the remaining to ride with the strong up wave.

Once the uptrend broken, will take my initial capital and 50 percent of profit to pocket my money, and left the 50 percent of my profit to roll..

Who knows it will go up higher since insanity of men have no limits

So you're saying buying index ETFs are better to reduce risks because some stocks can lag behind the index?

Or

Beating index to yield greater returns yet risk is much focused via few stocks (diversification)?

Yet, diversification also sometimes means di-worse-ification.

The second one๐Ÿ˜›

From my years of experience, I can never know who is the leader of all the horses until I look back at history. I have been in the market for 10 years. Still unable to find out the dark horse of all horses

Unless you are trader 24/7

Knowing when to pull out, is another issue to deal with

their profit margin was squeezed due to the surging price of raw/proceeded material, to make it worse, closure and limiting worker capacity brings down the production volume
