Wah asia shares all red, except for Malaysia. What is this sorcery.

Negligible foreign fund participation.

Bursa is already near dead before covid, honestly not much room to go down anymore.

We have been in decline since 2014.

Last buy was in end March. Now wait for end of this month or more likely May to buy into the market again.

What weed are you smoking? KLCI hit its highest levels and we were on our longest bull streak before PH took over in may 2018.

The % is quite low if there is no extra-ordinary news or event occuring.

The Covid issue is more and less baked into the market already.

Market fear the most of uncertainty and unknown, typically early March, total in dark, how Covid issue would be unfolding, and unknown how various gov will react, and unknown how impact the economy.

Once the massive stimulus injected with more and less Covid issue being known, market rebound from the bottom, likely flattish for sometimes.

Once market has better clear picture, normally it calms down.

You ask why is our index green, so i reply we have been trading sideways for a long time, hence not much room to drop.

Are you sure its highest before may 2018 ? I was sure there was a time we were looking at breaching 1.9k level. After that period, the hope for 1.9 is gone.

When you say longest bull streak it's cause we din't summon the bull with a 20% drop from peak. But lets not forget it drop 19% from peak during 2015, 1% shy of bear territory during the oil crisis.

I think you might have confuse the overall index with construction counter which are performing well prior to PH. But overall index has been disappointing since 2015.

Now the analysts say the rally is because of the China stimulus.

At the end of the day, nobody really knows anything. A random walk down KLSE street. smile.gif

Why pump? Because more buyers than sellers.
Why dump? Because more sellers than buyers.

These 2 are the most certain reasons haha

We can still have a more gradual decline.. A one step forward two step back kind of thing.
