My personal view,
PB figure is one of "weakest" indicator, and nowadays market doesn't emphasis too much on book value issue.

Market cares more about company on going forwards profitability and dividend yield.
Book value is something only good of viewing only.

Also, book value can be wiped off instantly, if a particular company business is out of favour or drastic changing business environment/industry.

Nowadays, we needs to look at specific company with specific purpose, generating a list of low PB, PE and think those at top list one good for investing, is a dangerous method and can easily fall into so called PE and PB trap.

Not in position or suitable for me to recommend any specific stock

Generally, those large cap with good dividend yield and with stable outlook are my watch list.

Is airasia good to buy? its currently at 1.80 and it was hovering around 2.90-3 for the last 2 years. It crashed the last 3 mths.

Will it rise back? good investment?

The stock didn't "crash" . The "crash" is not a real crash but a price adjustment made after the big special dividend.

I've no view on AirAsia. There is a saying about investing in airlines and becoming a millionaire .. 😅

If you want to be a millionaire, start with a billion dollars and invest in an airline. I think it's attributed to Richard Branson.

At least in 2019, nikkei did quite well. Up 18%. Much better than KLCI down 6%.

there are US REITs that distribute monthly dividend.
Is there any REITs in MY, SG, HK, JP, UK, EU that also distribute monthly dividend?

Not that I know of in My and SG.

Just buy 5-6 stocks/Reits with different dividends payment dates and its possible to get monthly payments. But it tends to get more lumpy in 3Q tho.
