AZ did get 90% efficacy too. and without the need of a super fridge to store the vaccines can expand the accessibility.
The thing is, why doesnt our government source from AZ when it is so damn cheap STOCK MARKET DISCUSSION V150

QUOTE(skty @ Nov 23 2020, 04:48 PM) you still don't get it. So are you saying that the bottlenecks are the raw materials?what I am trying to say is supply now is not bottle-necked by glove factory capacity. glove factory capacity +10000000000000000 bil/year also won't increase the supply. no offense. I am cool when I am typing. |

QUOTE(zstan @ Nov 23 2020, 04:59 PM) Malaysia is sourcing from everybody ah. Under COVAX initiative, moderna, AZ are there. If I'm not mistaken China's Sinovac is not in so they signed separate agreement. Pfizer also not under COVAX, not surprising since they gonna profit this gao gao Hahaha, I did miss something. Thank youThe full list of CEPI-supported candidate vaccines is as follows: Inovio, United States of America (Phase I/II) Moderna, United States of America (Phase III) CureVac, Germany (Phase I) Institut Pasteur/Merck/Themis, France/ United States of America /Austria (Preclinical) AstraZeneca/University of Oxford, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (Phase III) University of Hong Kong, China (Preclinical) Novavax, United States of America (Phase I/II) Clover Biopharmaceuticals, China (Phase I) University of Queensland/CSL, Australia (Phase I) QUOTE(skty @ Nov 23 2020, 05:00 PM) yes and if we know about this, we will then know that the covid cluster in TG factory won't affect a lot of their production because some of their production line before the cluster already half dead because of lack of material. I see. If so, the rubber price war will be more interesting next year with more companies joining the glove marketI hope everyone can know how to filter news. Which news will affect fundamental, which won't. my 2 cents as usual. Cheers! |

QUOTE(anakMY @ Nov 24 2020, 12:03 PM) anybody here trapped in vivocom? it seems a certain famous facebook page about investment kept promote this counter since few weeks back and many ppl chase it. PE 1.5k, greed knows no bound. History keeps repeating itself. People will still sign up for quick to rich scheme no matter how ridiculous it may sound. When they join such a scheme, they should have prepared for this kind of situation. These are the operators - a certain famous facebook page. Stock gurus are exactly like property gurus - make money from their followers and eventually bring them to Holland (except the very 1st few early followers, who get to cut profit) And all the analytical people who advised them not to fall for such schemes will be bashed as naysayers. prody liked this post

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Nov 24 2020, 03:07 PM) Sometime i don't get why people bought some share and is happy when it go down lower. If dividend stocks with solid long term prospect ok lo, like MBB back in AFC 1997/1998. It was RM1.8. To me, if i bought something and it go down, it either means: 1) my assumption is wrong and i should reassessed 2) I have transacted at a wrong timing on the purchase and bottom is not yet form For both cases, if I'm confident of the stock i would average down if possible but i would never be happy to pay a higher price than what i normally could. Averaging down is not a happy occasion, it is a required activity and required more sunk cost than if i have bought at a better timing. Building a wrong position too big is also a hazard of itself. But if you bought at RM3, then it dropped to RM1.8. Of course, in the short term not happy la, cause you could have bought more shares at a much lower price. But if you stretch out the investment horizon knowing that, in the future, at this price, you will be getting 30% return annually as dividend yield if you are buying at RM1.8, you will be happy for your retirement, but still not happy about your decision buying at RM3. My 2 cents sharing from my limited investment experience staticxtreme liked this post

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Nov 25 2020, 09:36 AM) MPI and its share buybacks during the 2000 gogo years.... Hahaha, damn sad right cannot access old data.Repost this part ..... MPI.. the monthly chart again ... prices are unadjusted .... which shows how crazy high the stock went..... ![]() this other monthly chart shows how the stock did since the bust. ![]() The earliest reference I got was .... MPI.. from Bursa * rant on Bursa Malaysia ... make so much money each year but somehow can be so stingy on their database. Spend the cash la. How can you not allow data/announcements that is more than 20 years be accessible? That's market info lo. How can you force info seekers to search via other websites? * That buyback was dated 21/4/2000. That 2000 buyback happened after MPI started falling .... price paid 36.75 Anyway the lowest price paid was 15.10. (yeah... I used the 13 website... ** what would you make of this? When the market crashes, the share buybacks won't help!! Clearly seen in MPI ** the 1999 buybacks... the chili sos Lowest price paid 8.90 Highest price paid 15.90 comments... ok ... MPI was active when the stock was going up... MPI hit highs of over 55 (or something like that) well there..... 3 sen worth When the market crashes, the share buybacks won't help!! - For now, it is tanking. I dont understand why they did not SBB during uptrend. If SBB during uptrend, then it is more sensible to me. SBB during downtrend |

QUOTE(zstan @ Nov 25 2020, 09:48 AM) Saravanan, who visited the plant days ago with Labour Department officers, said the workers’ housing conditions were deplorable. Wah, no need so black hearted le, why go curse other people counter...“Top Glove must adhere to NSC instructions and close down its factories in stages. “We have started investigations and will spare no one if they were found to have flouted labour laws. “I have visited the hostels and the conditions are terrible. My officers were ordered to go in full force as this is a big, vulnerable migrant workers colony. If we don’t act, this cluster might get out of control. sweet karma for top glove. hope their prices crash more. |
