Good morning folks.

I switched on my computer late as usual.

I decided to sell all the 2nd liner glove stocks that I bought yesterday to lock in the profit.

Gross profit percentage as shown in iSpeed.

Adventa +11%
Comfort +9%
Esceram +11.45%
HLT        +14.16%
Ruberex  +10.81%

I am also scared that it is just a dead cat bounce.  biggrin.gif

Glove stocks topics main contribute forum here ................

I notice many full time traders here day day keep posting during office hours which mean FT still can make a decent living ?

Which is why I always think that in this forum, there exists some big sharks and whales.
E.g. icemanfx, seems like he/she doesnt have to work 9-5

Pfizer only up 2.8%. Guess the markets are more rational today.
*
Same for US banks, no more +12% like the 1st time the vaccine news out.
Wells Fargo +2.48
JP Morgan + 1.36%
BAC + .33%
Citigroup + 2.44%

I think Citigroup is the cheapest among the discussed 4.

But, this rotational play (by an yet-to-be-approved vaccine) has shown people that there will be much larger uptrend spikes for recovery stocks when
1. Phase 3 trial vaccine is approved by WHO
2. Phase 3 approved vaccine has reached Malaysia

After these 2 remaining spikes, I think all the forward looking recovery will be priced back into the recovery counters.
As of today, we are still -20 to -30% down for some recovery counters. There are still a lot of upside left. Start buying those that are fundamentally strong.

IMO, OnG is not a recovery play because it will not solve its underlying oversupply issue (Russia vs Middle East). Just my 2 cents.

Not sure if you guys have noticed: US ban banks from buying back their shares and caps their dividends until end of 2020, which explains why the bank shares are not going up despite trading at an extremely cheap valuation.

Next year the spike will be spectacular when the buyback bans and dividends cap are lifted. The patience and the knowing will be greatly rewarded.

the volumes are decent at 10.30am.

anyway, did u get some spmx yesterday?

spmx + kossan should stay good until end of mon - the bosses surely like to get into KLCI in style.
anyway, what positive factors today?

.. oversold?
.. vaccines news done with?
.. vaccines to get fast FDA approval, mass vaccinations coming, lots of PPE orders coming?
.. KCLI inclusions?
.. APEC meet - LHL says asean to set up PPE stockpile?

.. none or all of the above? tongue.gif

WHO announced people need to fight 2nd wave without vaccine
https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/c...s-who-1.5194720

vaccines should not be seen as a "unicorn" magic solution -- and countries battling a resurgence of the virus would once again have to "climb this mountain" without them.

"I think it's at least four to six months before we have significant levels of vaccination going on anywhere,"

Despite recent promising announcements from final-phase candidate vaccine trials, "We're not there with vaccines yet," said Ryan.

you have huge opportunity cost eh?

or got better counter to go in in between now until year end?

share share.  tongue.gif
don't have the thinking that Tan Sri doing this to rescue shareholders.

it's a very dangerous thinking and it's not practical.

I would prefer to treat it as they will get much more back when they utilize the buy-back shares.

my 2 cents as usual.

cheers!  icon_rolleyes.gif

They would have obtained much much more shares back with the same amount of money if they dont support the prices and let it free fall though.

Why dont they do that?
