Hmm if we break down the fare:
Trip 1. RM37 minus toll RM7.40 = RM29.60 for 44KM drive.
Trip 2. RM45 minus toll RM12.40 = RM32.60 for 48KM drive.

The time of the trip is the time the ping comes in and accept. What's wrong with this statement ?

This is how uber staff reply me. It was based on rider app booking time and not the time I receive ping.

Are u suggesting both of us are idiot by turning on the app just before quest time?

Next time Pls suggest to uber staff to stop doing funny thing to driver....then they will see less negative comment in the social media about them...

Lesson learned. Do not go online before the start quest time.

Yeah, even the rider asked me how come Uber is so cheap. He compared the Grab price is rm 75 (exclude toll), Uber only rm 45 (include toll).

Naturally If you want to aim for the quest you should only online within the time period. Same goes for boost. Logic no?

Rider app booking and ping received is almost the same time la no? And I can tell you for a fact, it's based on the time when the ping comes in and you accept.

What I am trying to say is, it's not based on your pick up time, or your drop off time.

This is logic la. If you aim quest why would you online before the quest time and risk a ping comes in ?

Some more big hoo-ha say until like kena conned by Uber or something.

Ended up with zero trips that day. I usually camp in ss2, seksyen 17 and 14. But the pings are really rare at these areas. I do circle around but it seems to be a waste of petrol. Those camping in PJ area (I usually start off here) do give some advice. Thanks!

I respect someone who already drove uber for 1.5 years and didnt notice any funny things that uber did to us.

I online before 6am because i want to receive ping early and COMPLETE trip earlier to hit 5 trips before 9am.

The promotion "Complete 9 trips between the above hours", it actually meant "Receive 9 ping requests between the above hours".

Anyway, in future i Will be more careful.
