Thinking of getting another phone for Uber. The existing phone will remain as my primary phone.

But when my sister comes here from Singapore, she would use my secondary phone.

So the question is: Can I switch between two numbers for Uber app?

login to Uber app on the second phone, go to Edit profile and update your phone number. Uber will send a code via SMS to confirm the number

this reward trip same as boost..it start when rider request within that time..even if you complete the trip outside the time.

Hi all, when i log in, it shows my account need attention. Have email them and they reply that they are doing background check but they said no definite lead time when I ask how long it will resolve. Anyone here experience this before? How long would it take for your account to back to normal.

Uber PJ office told me background check takes about 1 week.

Hello,

I recently have sign up for Driver Uber while I having Rider Uber account too

After that, only know that each email address and phone number per account regardless Rider or Driver

I have then emailed to CS seek for assistance since I totally unable to use my rider account.

The result of this case finally has been solved and my rider account is back to normal that can request for uber car

However, nocited that my account now is not available to add those promo code but my friends able to added.

Did anyone has encounter this before ??

Write in to the CS to delete one of the account. Currently you have two account still, which is why you can only apply promo codes to one.

CS has deleted duplication account for me already, therefore, I can sign in rider account and request for uber.

I have reached to CS again seek for assistance, below is the CS replied:

While we certainly appreciate you sharing your personal referral code with friends and family, after reviewing your account it appears the usage of your personal promo code violates Uber's Terms of Service.

Your ability to participate in our referral program has been disabled. No worries, you will still be able to use your Uber account as usual to request and pay for trips.


The above replied still unknown for me that what is the reason still

Not true, I've also encountered the same thing last time. Not for quest but for boost. I only went online when the boost grid appeared. Got a ping coming in less than a few mins later. End of the trip showed no boost because the it seems like I accepted the job at 5.59 am . But like I said, I only went online when the boost grid came on.

You are still chasing boost?
Nowadays very few areas are under boost grid, and the rates are 1.1-1.2 only.

I'm doing more grab now. This was like a year back and I was at bangsar South where boost was around 1.5 if in not mistaken.

I don't do it full time. I focus more on grab because I get 25 % charged at uber compared to 20% at grab. There are times when I do use uber though, when surge is high. Airport and genting trips with uber is better , and even better when it's boosted. But that's still by chance.

This happened last Friday while PJ was having a 1.9x boost from 9am - 10am. I am 100% sure the ping came after 9am as I have parked my car and waited till 9am before switching online. I am also 99% sure the rider did not request earlier nor does he has driver cancellation as he told me "You've accepted my request less than a min" as I'm just parked right outside of his Condo.

But this is not the case according to CS. This is not my first experience and I doubt it will be my last.

Their apps is incompetent to show the proper boost/surge from time to time. So it's pretty hard to decide to accept or reject. I have cases the ping shows 1.2x boost but I knew the area is under 1.7x boost. I accepted and I was right, it is 1.7x instead of the 1.2x shown when the ping came in.

TL;DR: no drivers will be so free to make this a big issue if it is not. Why would I accept a trip at 8:54am trip for 1.1x and not 9am trip for 1.9x?

Can i know does Uber time same with internet time? ( i dint drive uber/grab )

Or your phone time too fast? / Uber server time delay? ( US based? )

Maybe should refer to Uber CS ask whats their time on their system

Uber time should be in sync with the internet as the map changes when boost rate changes

My phone time is in sync with the internet as well
