How can you start the trip before rider is in the car?
And after you started the trip, of course the rider unable to cancel. Because the system read the rider is already on trip. In the car towards destination.

Only start trip when they are in the car.

I normally ask if I can begin trip.

But funny thing is she should cancel way before that if she already knows she's not going.

I kena before to Banting last time when Uber still got incentive. After drop off straight rush to USJ, the nearest busy area zone to qualify for incentive.
And no. it's not worth it getting long trip when driving for incentive. . 

that's what i understand la....but ieian81 confirmed that Nilai is servicing area for Uber      well if only UberMY can come clarifies it but very unlikely.... 

Genting is out of Klang Valley but it's flat rate la.... not sure about Nilai 

RM157.80 - just checked from the app out of curiosity.

Its not worth going up Genting for that rate. Done Grab once, RM 110 and lucky me the rider wants to spend 2 hrs only there. I slow talked with the rider that I could wait and he agreed to ride back.

UBER to KLIA from RM65 from Jan 9 but will top up all unsurged flat rate trips by RM 8 until further notice.

Now really competing with GRAB. 

There you go, more reason to quit UBER/GRAB.

Today I did 2 charity.. Drive 6km to pick up, 3km trip.rm3 + nett income.. Minus my time and petrol and maintenance equal ntg.. 2nd trip, pickup location not  accurate.. Drop off also not accurate.. It show ktm station but in other side, so when I reach it say you have reaxh your destination.. I need uturn again another 2km with jam.. End up rm6+ nett 2nd charity.. I wonder do I make uturn route counted? My gps show over 13-14km but the way Bill show 9km +

I love this idea. BTW, after the Uber rider app updated to "where-to" the app became so damn stupid. For example, if a rider wants to pick up at One Utama, the previous app will show the pick up point e.g. Old Wing --> First Avenue / One World

Today tried to upload my insurance (expired quite some time, never follow up  ) into the system.....manatau, got reply say my partner apps got technical issue, ask me raise issue....

Raise mai raise lor.....and replied back, say I long time no online, ask me go to their office to reactivate back....I ask back nicely lor, can do it online or not, very leceh, go office, some more the office very rundown, with few plastic chair and fold table, no signage at all just a few piece of A4 paper stick on wall say Uber office, look like some illegal, run by night business, plus the staff there also look more like ah beng and mat rempit and kaki botol, not professional at all, even the driver more professional (disclaimer lah, this what I observe during last time when I register)..........say cannot....

Pissed off, told them off, just deactivate my account lah, better join your competitor, Grab, straight remove apps from my phone....

So, now, I officially stop driving Uber jor, no return...

btw, sign up from Grab, must stay active like Uber or not, or can choose when to drive, ikut suka hati one?

Does the app automatically notifies the user? Most of the time I reached I don't get the button to notify user

in fb group, few driver post that they will stop driving for Uber as uber have increased the service fee from 25% to 28&. Is this true?

AFAIK, 28% is only for UberXL
